Which Top Laners Are Strong in LoL Patch 11.1?

5. Garen (Win Rate: 52.6%)

Garen is one of the best top laners for those stuck in lower elo. His kit is easy to understand and is based on raw damage and doesn’t require players to roam as much as other top lane champions. He is a safe pick with movement bonus and shields in his kit which make him a great top lane champion who can stay safe and farm and then become the mid and late game tank your team needs.

4. Pantheon (Win Rate: 51.3%)

Pantheon got some miniature nerfs, which only affect him in the support position. He is still a top tier top laner who can roam and help out the mid lane when needed. If you want high damage output, a relatively safe champion and move out of lane with ease, then pick Pantheon this Patch to be able to help carry your team to victory.

3. Malphite (Win Rate: 51.5%)

Due to the popularity of bruiser-top-laners like Nasus, Malphite is still strong even after nerfs to Sunfire Aegis and his own kit. Sure, he doesn’t deal as much damage as before and the chance of one-shotting an opponent in the late game to start a fight is also reduced, but in lower elos Malphite is still considered an OP pick. He is a strong tank who can survive lane and become the initiation tool your team needs.

2. Camille (Win Rate: 51.2%)

Camille is one of the strongest top laners, even though one of her core items, Trinity Force, saw a slight nerf. Build Ravenous Hydra and Serak’s Gage to complete the core build which will make her a monster in the mid and late game.

Camille is also a very safe champion. Thanks to her shield and hookshot she is able to play aggressively and keep sustaining in lane without having to worry. Sure, keep the hookshot until the last moment in case of a jungle gank, but we all know our junglers don’t come top in solo queue anyway.

1. Darius (Win Rate: 52.2%)

Darius is the best top laner of Patch 11.1. He was already a decent top laner, especially in low elo, who could even manage to go toe-to-toe with Malphite during Malphite’s glory days. Now, with those nerfs to the big rock, Darius can truly shine.

Thanks to the change to Stridebreaker, Darius gains more ability haste which will let him spam his abilities and go in for the kill more often. Stack up the ultimate to have it reset and kill the squishy backline opponents before they get a chance to do anything in a team fight. Darius is truly insane this patch, so try him out before Patch 11.2 hits.
