LoL star Faker missed the team's last game due to an injury, but it might be more serious than some fans had hoped and he will be out for key games.
League of Legends star Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok recently revealed that he has been playing through an injury for the first few weeks of LCK action. This has prompted him to be benched during the team's most recent play against DRX.
Now, T1 head coach Bae "Bengi" Seong-woong revealed when the star mid laner could return and how long he is going to be resting, so his injuries can heal in time for T1 to make it to Worlds.
LoL: Faker Will Be Out For Key Games
The next game T1 is going to play is one of the most hyped match ups in the LCK. T1 vs. Gen.G is one of the best matches fans can hope for, but it seems like the game on July 8, 2023 is going t be a bit different from what most fans had been hoping.
Due to Faker's injury he will be sitting out this key match, as well as other important games.
In a press conference after the 2-0 loss to DRX, head coach Bengi revealed that Faker would be missing at least two weeks of games due to the injured arm that's been plaguing him for over a month already.
The team is now focusing on making playoffs even without their veteran mid laner, but it had not yet been revealed whether their LCK Challengers team call-up Yoon "Poby" Sung-won will be their go-to player or they will swap around current players and call up someone else.
T1 has some difficult opponents ahead with Gen.G, NongShim and DPlus KIA being their next opponents.
