100 Thieves Decimate Team Liquid
The first game of the weekend pitted 100 Thieves against Team Liquid. Already from the early game, it became clear who had the upper hand. 100 Thieves wiped the floor with Liquid, thanks to their objective control – 6 Dragons is nothing to scoff at – and their fighting prowess. 10 minutes into the game, TL was aced, and it became clear who was the favorite to win.

Evil Genius’ hate solar energy. It’s confirmed. The game started off shaky for Flyquest with a bad back from Palafox which was quickly punished by Jizuke, earning them their first blood. From there, things just went downhill for Flyquest and Evil Genius began to tear through them with objective control, even tripling the kill count by the end of the massacre.
TSM probably underestimated Dignitas. It seems that for every play TSM made, Dignitas had the answer and could counter. Gank in the bot lane? Sure, but we’ll turn it around on you! The game went back and forth, but Akaadian’s strong jungling and lane presence helped Dig gain the upset win over TSM.
Immortals had no answer against Cloud9 in their first match of the weekend. No matter what they tried, Cloud9 was steps ahead, able to gain an advantage from every angle. Perkz showed off his prowess on Akali and why she needs to be nerfed, earning Cloud9 another victory this season.

Golden Guardians came to play. The last placed team won’t go down without a fight, and they really showed off their skill against Counter Logic Gaming. Pobelter ended up without a single kill in the game, being used as a test dummy by Golden Guardians as they smashed their way to victory.
TSM, C9 and 100T Continue to Lead LCS
TSM decided to learn from their previous mistake and didn’t underestimate Immortals. They came in with a game plan, bringing out Viego, who has a 100% win rate thus far. TSM got the quick 2-0 start to the game. They had objective control and transferred that poise to the rest of the match, taking the V with ease.
Hopes of a playoff berth are dwindling for CLG after their horrendous game against Evil Genius this week. Sure, CLG managed to pick on Impact, the top laner having 90% of his team's deaths, but he is used to playing weak side, and his sacrifice gave his team the chance to take the win in the end.
The game for third place saw the resurgence of Yone. Perkz, showed off his skill on the champion. First blood was secured at nine minutes and C9 continued to dominate from there on out. While TL took early objectives, they just couldn’t stave off the attack from C9 and ended up losing after trying to defend a baron take at the 30-minute mark.
You’d think that a 20-11 scoreline would mean a very one-sided affair. That wasn’t the case this weekend though when the Golden Guardians took on Dignitas. The last placed team fought hard, gaining 2 Dragons, a baron and even an inhibitor, but it wasn’t enough because Dignitas got the Nexus in the end.
100 Thieves might be the number one team in the LCS right now, but Flyquest wasn’t going to make it easy for them. 100T managed to control the drakes all game long, but Flyquest focused on the top lane, earning two towers with one Rift Herald push. It wasn’t enough though, and after losing a fight at the baron pit around 25-minutes, 100T seemed to fully be online and slowly pushed for the victory, ending the game at 35-minutes.
The Battle for Second Place Between C9 and TSM
Evil Genius’ had their first 3-0 weekend after beating Golden Guardians in a kill-filled match. Is this the LPL we’re watching? Nope, clown fiesta LCS here. With Akali top in the hands of Impact, everything was thrown on its head and after a 22-17 kill game, Evil Genius took the victory.

Another team that went 3-0 this weekend was 100T, who handed CLG another loss in a one-sided affair. At 23-minutes, CLG contest a dragon fight, which didn't end in their favor, and 100 Thieves continued with this momentum, taking baron right after as well. 100T continue their push and by the 30-minute mark, they’ve secured the Nexus.
The match of the weekend had to be the clash of C9 and TSM. TSM took a quick fist blood when Vulcan was caught, but C9 wouldn’t go down without a fight, taking skirmishes in the bot lane to try and even out the matchup. TSM slowly built their gold-lead through objective control, inching their way forward. With a cloud soul in their back pocket at 30 minutes, TSM take the fight around the elder dragon, even with a numbers disadvantage. With the power of the elder, TSM push forward, taking the W.

After two losses, TL had enough this weekend and took out their frustration on Flyquest. The game was a completely one-sided affair, and it almost seemed like TL were playing against bots, rather than another LCS opponent. Tactical led the team with his Xayah performance, giving the fourth-placed team at least one victory this weekend.
Objective control was the name of the game for Immortals. They managed to take all objectives in the game, and a fight around the baron at the 22-minute mark, but Dignitas saw a glimmer of hope with an ace at the 23-minute mark when Immortals overstepped. A second baron spawned and Immortals went in to grab it at 29-minutes. Dignitas tried to defend, only to be aced and for Immortals pushed into their base and easily won.
