Golden Guardians looked solid in their game against FlyQuest with a mage in the bot lane and an ADC in the mid lane to switch things up. This was a much-needed win for them if they wanted to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Team Liquid looked good in their match against Immortals, with Alphari showing a solid Malphite performance. He was a rock in the top lane, leading Team Liquid to victory.

CLG had to take another loss against Dignitas this weekend. The team had no answers to the Dignitas’ lineup and continued their losing streak to the start of Week 9 as well.

Golden Guardians beat Immortals to try and keep their playoff hopes alive. They pulled even with FlyQuest and their fate would be decided later on in the day, whether they would make it into the lower bracket of playoffs or not.

Team Liquid were pushed back down to fifth place after a solid performance by Cloud9. Jensen tried to push TL to the win, but couldn’t solo carry, which meant that Cloud9 would take over and move ahead of them in the standings.

100 Thieves started their academy team against EG, who needed a win to edge ahead of Team Liquid in the standings. This win will give the team momentum going into the playoffs next week.

The final game of the LCS summer split saw FlyQuest take on CLG. FlyQuest desperately needed a win to stay ahead of GG, but CLG played spoiler, earning a final victory in what is a season to be forgotten.
