The Lunar New Year is starting off strong with Riot releasing two sets of brand-new Lunar New Year skins. The Mythmaker and Lunar God skins will be hitting the Rift soon in LoL Patch 13.2.
We've already mentioned that we're getting a whole bunch of new skins, like the Mythmaker skins for five champions. But we will also be exploring a whole new world of gods known as the Lunar God skins which will also be released at the beginning of 2023.
So, let's go over all the champions and the skins we can expect from Riot. We won't be getting any prestige skin for this skin line though since Sivir's Mythmaker skin will be getting a prestige version, as well as the Porcelain Lissandra skin from 2022 will also be receiving a prestige look. But let's check out the rest of the Lunar God skins.
LoL Lunar Gods Skins: All Champions Getting New Skins
Five champions will be receiving new skins for the Lunar Gods skin line. The absolute highlight in this skin line will definitely be Malphite who is going to get a pretty great skin for once. Seriously, what an upgrade from the green Chroma he got with Shamrock Malphite, right?
- Lunar Empress Ashe
- Lunar Empress Qiyana
- Lunar Guardian Malphite
- Lunar Guardian Kha'Zix
- Lunar Emperor Thresh
The weakest of these skins is Kha'Zix, but it's still a very good skin. Overall this looks to be a promising and unique skin line which will bring the Lunar New Year to the League of Legends client once more.

Upcoming Lunar Gods Skin Costs
These skins are all Epic Tier skins. What does this mean for your wallet? That you're going to have to pay 1350 RP. The only legendary skin that Riot is going to release at the start of the 2023 season is already revealed in the Mythmaker skin line for Irelia and there isn't a prestige skin amongst these either.
Lunar Gods Skin Release Date
These skins will come in the second patch of 2023. They've made it onto the PBE server where they will be tested out before releasing in LoL Patch 13.2. This means the skins will be released on January 25, 2023.
