You guys open up the Item Shop and nearly go into epileptic shock? All those bonuses, legendary and mythic items... seriously where to even begin? Where are the "good old days" when Lee Sin still bought a Sightstone? It's all good though because we have something for you: The League of Legends Item Guide Series. We start the series off with a very fun Item which you can buy in the item shop: Duskblade of Draktharr.
- To start off here is how to get into the midlane: Beginner’s Mid-Lane Guide
Dusblade of Draktharr, or as most know it as simply Duskblade, is one of the easiest options for you, when you're not sure what item to buy. Basically you just need Longswords to build which make a Serrated Dirk and Caulfield's Warhammer. EZ.
Duskblade of Draktharr Stats:
- Cost: 3200 Gold
- + 60 AD
- + 20 Ability Haste
- + 18 Lethality (11.2 - 18 (based on level) Armor Penetration)
- Gold efficiency without passive: 85,23%
Is Duskblade of Draktharr a Mythic Item?
Yes, Duskblade is a Mythic Item. So for every legendary item you will gain 5 Ability Haste. The mythic passive is an important stat with which you gauge whether to build the item or not.
The item has its own passive which isn't part of the mythic passive. Duskblade's item passive gives champions the mechanic "Nightstalker" which will deal on-hit bonus of 65 AD (+25% bonuus AD) and slows opponents for 0.25 seconds to 99%. The cooldown can be reset when you participate in a kill within 3 seconds. If you manage this then you even go invisible for a solid 1.5 seconds.
Who Builds Duskblade of Draktharr?
Duskblade fits best with AD-based champions who tend to do a whole lot of damage with their abilities. So basically any AD-Assassin in the mid lane or in the jungle - like Zed or Qiyana. These days you might also see ADCs like Ezreal or Sivir build Duskblade since they can do some serious hard with the added Ability Haste.
Champions like Kha'Zix are especially annoying when they build Duskblade thanks to the invisibilty the item grants. Serioysly tilt-worthy.
Who is Draktharr?
Lê "Draktharr" Ngoc Toân is a professional League of Legends player. Currently, he is the jungler for Burst the Sky esports. Riot hasn't made any comments as to why the item is called the way it is and well... the player Draktharr was still called Jahseh until last year. He probably just jumped onto the hype train of the item and changed his name.
