LoL: Ivern To Receive Mid-Scope Update in 2023

Ivern is one of the coolest and most unique champions in League of Legends, but that has made him one of the most unpopular LoL champions. Now, Riot is going to make some changes and give him a mid-scope update.

Ivern is one of the coolest champion concepts out there. He is the most unique jungler with a flair unlike anyone else on the rift. Seriously, his walk animation is 10/10 the best. Hence, why he isn't getting an Art and Sustainability update – like another champion – but instead a gameplay update.

While Ivern is a fun LoL champion with a unique kit, he's also one of the least played champions and quite unpopular for most. His uniqueness makes him a very rare find on Summoner's Rift and a Mid-Scope Update (MSU) might fix that.

LoL: Ivern Hopes To Be More Popular After Mid-Scope Update

Will a Mid-Scope Update help Ivern? Maybe. It's done wonders for champions like Sivir, Taliyah and Jax who have all found some semblance of relevancy on the rift once more after Riot took them under the microscope. Now we have some more information on Ivern's MSU.

In a recent dev blog, Riot Meddler has revealed an estimated date for the update. He has explained that they're planning for it to go live around the mid-season update, which will also have an effect on in-game items, especially those in the bot lane.

So, Ivern's Mid-Scope Update is looking to be released around LoL Patch 13.11 or 13.12, with the Mid-Seaosn Update happening after the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational.

Ivern isn't the only champion getting a Mid-Scope Update though, Rell will also be getting one, but there hasn't been much news on it yet regarding the release date. It seems Ivern will be getting his released ahead of time.
