What are Watch Rewards?
Watch rewards are gifts Riot gives out to fans who watch the event on the lolesports client with their Riot account connected. During the 2020 World Championship, fans were upset over the lackluster drops they got, so it seems that this time around they will be getting more than just blue essence and a few emotes.
At least judging by what Riot revealed on their websites, there will be some chests to gain as well by watching the event on lolesports.com.
