Just as promised, Riot will be shooting a hotfix patch live either today or tomorrow, fixing some of the outliers from patch 10.25. This will be the last update to the game before the holiday season, which is why it is crucial for them to get it right.
The nerf list is quite long in comparison to the buffs, which goes-to-show that there are some items and champions which are just a cut above all the rest. Let’s take a quick look at what changes Riot has planned for patch 10.25b.
LoL patch 10.25b: The Nerfs
The damage amp of Sunfire Aegis will be toned down. It was 12% and went up to 72%, but once the hotfix patch is live, it’ll be reduced to 10% going up to 60%. This is the only item on the nerf list, but it is a much needed change, since the tank item was one of the best items in the game.

Akali’s passive will be hit with some nerfs. The movement speed is being lowered from 40-70% to 30-60% and the passive damage is also being lowered. She will be dealing 29-170 (+60% base AD) (+40% AP) after the nerf, which is down a significant amount from before.
Malphite had a bit too much survivability, which is why Riot has decided to take some of his magic resist away. Malphite's magic resist is lowered from 31.2 to 28. This will make him a bit more easy to punish, and he will have to stay on the lookout for ganks.

Galio was supposed to get hit with a nerf on the original patch 10.25, but the developers said they’d save it for the update patch, which is why seeing him on this list isn’t much of a surprise. The nerf isn’t big, just an increase to Galio's W cooldown.
The last two champions on the list are two Riot had just buffed: Anivia’s E is getting a mana cost update, now costing 50 rather than 40 mana. The base damage of the attack was also lowered from 60-180 to 60-170.

Olaf is the final champion getting a nerf. The slow on Olaf's Q is changed from 29-45% to 25-45%, while his W attack speed was 55-95% and will be 50-90%. This will hopefully make playing against the viking a little more manageable.
LoL patch 10.25b: The Buffs
The buff list is rather sparse in comparison. Kayn is getting a slight upgrade: Kayn's base armour is being bumped up again going from 35 to 38. He was just too squishy early on and had trouble clearing his jungle, so this is going to help out a lot. His Q damage will also be increased.
Gangplank also gets a small little buff, with his AD per level going from 3 to 4. He is going to feel a little stronger with every level which will make him a better choice in the top lane.
A few adjustments are also being made this patch: New Champion Rell won't unbind her target when self-casting E andRunaan's Hurricane is getting a slight change in the build path, as well as a cost decrease.
