LoL Patch 11.12 comes out today. Get ready for summer beach vibes with two brand new skins to cool you off after a heated game of League of Legends. Not to mention the small item and champion changes and the big Dr. Mundo Rework we’ve been talking about since September of last year!
This patch is a small one, since the upcoming LoL Patch 11.13 will entail a lot more changes to Summoner’s Rift. So enjoy the mediocre adjustments, because in two weeks' time, we’re going to face with some bigger updates!
- While playing LoL is fun and all, have you ever wondered who these champions even are? Is Annie really the cute little girl she looks like? And is Aatrox really as menacing as he seems on the Rift?
Champion Changes in LoL Patch 11.12
The most complicated change in LoL Patch 11.12 is probably Aphelios and that’s just because Aphelios is a complicated champion. Can’t have his buffs be simple then, right? Two of his weapons, Severum and Crescendum, got buffed in this LoL Patch to try and increase the reward players get. Also, his AD growth and magic resist were increased.
After buffs to Divine Sunderer as well as Black Cleaver, Wukong has been raging in the top lane. Riot has had enough monkeying around and decided to nerf Wukong directly, since his core items are just too powerful. So in LoL Patch 11.12, his AD growth has been reduced and AD bonus damage ratio in his Q as well.
- Ever wondered why Koreans are just so good at League of Legends and make up a huge portion of the best professional players?
Nasus is also getting a nerf – thank you Riot! After those god-awful games I had against a fed Nasus, I knew this had to happen. He will have less lifesteal, which means he won’t be as unkillable in the late game as before.
These are just a few key changes in LoL Patch 11.12. We’ve compiled a complete list of item and champion buffs and nerfs last week so for more information check it out!
Dr. Mundo Rework in LoL Patch 11.12
The doctor is in and making his way through Summoner’s Rift with a whole new look. Dr. Mundo finally received his update, looking sleek and chic. His kit stayed mostly the same, with a few upgrades to make him feel like a champion who is worth playing in 2021.
He is still a manaless champion, he can still go wherever he wants, and he still throws his cleavers left and right. So yes, Mundo 1-vs-1’s in the Baron pit is still a viable for-fun game.
- Do you want some interesting off-meta picks? Well, check out mid-lane Ezreal! Or be a normie and play Annie mid and Jinx in the bot lane. Whatever floats your boat.
The biggest change comes to his W. It isn’t a constant AoE spell anymore, but rather he electrocutes himself and enemies around for a specific period of time before dealing a burst of damage. Goodbye cool flaming circle around Mundo!
New Skins in LoL Patch 11.12
Two new skins are released with LoL Patch 11.12. Sett and Braum are on the receiving end of these summer-themed Pool Party skins. Both are here to show off their six-packs and impress the ladies of Summoner’s Rift.
Overall, LoL Patch 11.12 is just a small patch with a few champion updates. Players will have to wait two more weeks if they’re unhappy with the current game state.
