Patch 11.15 is coming in about two weeks. There will be new skins, a new champion – Akshan – and a lot more League of Legends lore added into the mix. Who else is excited to look ahead to see what awaits us on Summoner’s Rift?
LoL Patch 11.14 dropped today and with that, Patch 11.15 went live on the PBE servers. New skins are being tested, as well as a whole new champion for players to enjoy. We’ll go over the details right now, so you can be informed on what’s to come in League of Legends.

Akshan Revealed for LoL Patch 11.15
Akshan is the next champion to be added to League of Legends. He will be a mid lane marksman and assassin. His kit is completely overloaded and looks extremely powerful, but the low base attack speed hinders him from being completely OP.
So what makes Akshan so special? Well, his W ability is able to bring dead champions back to life. Yes, you read that right. If an opponent kills your ally, and within one minute you kill that champion, then the dead ally revives.
- We now know Akshan is real, but what about Norra?
Yeah, sounds pretty OP. This might dissuade someone from going for that Quadrakill when they’re low health in the late game because one wrong move, and they’ll be toast, while the opposing team comes back to life to take any objective or even the base.
He also has an insanely interesting hook mechanic. While Camille hooks straight forward, jumps off a wall at an angle, Akshan’s E ability lets him hook into a structure and swing around in a circular motion. While swinging, he fires at the nearest enemy. If he achieves a takedown, the E cooldown is reset.

Seriously, Akshan’s abilities are insane and sound broken, but at the same time, extremely fun. Will it be fun for the opposing mid laner, though? Who knows. The invisibility near walls doesn’t help Akshan be any less obnoxious, by the way.
LoL Patch 11.15: What Build Should Akshan go for?
From what we’ve gathered, Press the Attack is an extremely good rune that synergizes well with his kit. His Q boomerang along with the damage from his E hook will easily stack up the rune’s passive and give Akshan more attack damage to easily take down enemies.

As for items, so far most builds we’ve seen have chosen ADC items such as Galeforce, but there are other options such as full lethality builds with Duskblade as well. Just keep in mind that he doesn’t have the best attack speed, and even adding items like a Galeforce won’t improve it too much.
Which Champions Are Getting Skins in LoL Patch 11.15?
Six Skins should be released in LoL Patch 11.15. These are the champions getting new skins:
- Akshan
- Miss Fortune
- Thresh
- Graves
- Pyke
- Rengar
It's not like Miss Fortune was in desperate need of skins, but hey, at least someone like Rengar is on there too. Glad to see that Riot can distinguish between fanservice and actual needs.
Which Skins Are Getting Released in LoL Patch 11.15?
- Akshan – Cyberpop Skin
- Miss Fortune – Ruined Skin
- Thresh – Ruined Skin
- Graves – Sentinels Skin
- Pyke – Sentinels Skin
- Rengar – Sentinels Skin
As you can see, the only skin which won’t be part of the Sentinels Event is the one for Akshan which is a Cyberpop skin.
When Will LoL Patch 11.15 be Released?
LoL Patch 11.15 is going to be released on July 21st. So we will have to wait for another two weeks before we get our hands on Akshan.
