LoL Patch 11.18 is set to release in two weeks. This is going to be a rather small patch without many changes and updates since we’re nearing the 11.19 World Championship patch. So. what changes await us in LoL Patch 11.18?
Unlike in LoL Patch 11.16 where Sona got a reworkand Patch 11.17 where Lucian, Amumu and Viego were updated, LoL Patch 11.18 will be a rather tame patch with only minor changes. Riot won’t want wan to shake up the meta too much before the 2021 World Championship.

What Changes Will Come to LoL Patch 11.18?
Riot will probably continue to monitor Akshan, who has received quite a few bug fixes in Patch 11.17 and even a hotfix buff earlier on as well. Other champions who recently got updates like Lucian, Amumu, Gangplank and Viego will also be looked at to see how the 11.17 changes have affected these champions.
As mentioned already, LoL Patch 11.18 isn’t going to have any major champion overhauls. We will get nerfs to outliers and buffs to struggling champions as well, but right now, nothing big has been found on the PBE server yet. Riot wants to keep the meta steady for pro play, most likely.

Rengar Rework in LoL Patch 11.18
The biggest change in LoL Patch 11.18 will come to Rengar who is subject to a small rework. The testing has already begun, but many changes had to be made since the updates made Rengar a little too OP.

Another two weeks on the PBE server will do the jungle cat some good, adjusting his new passive, as well as his Battle Roar and Bolar Strike, to fit into the meta, especially so close before the 2021 World Championship.
Will Vex be Released in LoL Patch 11.18?
According to Riot, Vex should be released in September of this year. We have not seen her on the PBE server for Patch 11.18 yet, which means she will most likely be coming in LoL Patch 11.19. In two weeks' time, we will know whether she is going to be on the 11.19 PBE patch.

Vex played an important part in the Sentinels event which took place earlier this summer, but due to some complications with her kit and getting her just right, the release of this mage – once artillery mage, but Riot decided to change her to a control mage instead – was pushed back.
What Skins Are Coming in LoL Patch 11.18?
Riot just announced that Pentakill will be getting new skins. The band of 6 will also be getting a new member with Viego. With his love for leather pants and showing off his abs, Viego is a perfect fit for Pentakill and the metal genre as a whole.
So, while the original six members are getting updates to their skins with the Pentakill - the Lost Chapter skins, Viego will be donning a white suit, once again showing off his abs and transforming his greatsword into a guitar.
These are the members of Pentakill that will also get a skin:
- Sona
- Karthus
- Olaf
- Kayle
- Mordekaiser
- Yorick
- Viego
Also, Tristana will be getting a Hextech skin as well, which is already being tested on PBE.
When Will LoL Patch 11.18 be Released?
According to the official League of Legends patch schedule, the 11.18 patch will be released on Thursday, the 9th of September. This aligns perfectly with the release date of Pentakill’s third official album.
