Patch 11.5 is out today and with it, we will be getting some updates to jungle champions who have lost their way as well as some epic new skins, which will make you want to hop onto the FlyQuest hype train and do some good for our planet!
So let’s start off with some Champions and which ones the developers felt were a little bit too insane. Who has gotten nerfed and who will be getting buffed?
Which Champions Are Buffed in Patch 11.5?
Qiyana has been underperforming for quite some time now. She is a high elo pocket pick when a team needs a strong roaming mid laner, but in any other situation or even any other elo, she has been outclassed by just about every other assassin out there. Hence why she is getting some bonus damage to her W, increasing form 8/16/24/32/40 (+30%AP) to 8/22/36/50/64 (+45% AP). The damage on her ultimate was also scaled up.

She isn’t the only struggling pick getting some love. Sejuani has been left in the dust over the last patches. Not even that huge cooldown buff to her R a few patches ago did anything to get her out of the gutter so she will be getting a slightly better second hit ratio with her W which is going from 5.25% to 6%.
Other champions getting buffed are:
Jax: Damage Growth was 3.38 and is now 4
Karma: Q Cooldown reduction 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds
Kog’Maw: W Bonus Damage 3/4/5/6/7% of targets maximum health
Master Yi: E Base damage 20/30/40/50/60
Samira: Damage growth was 2.8 and will now be 3 and Q Damage Ratio 80/90/100/110/120%
Trundle: Q Cooldown 3.5 seconds
Which Champions Are Getting a Nerf in Patch 11.5?
Rell has been tearing it up in high elo and the pro circuit, which is why Riot has decided to give others a bit of a chance against this top-notch support. Her W cooldown has been increased from 11 to 13 seconds and her armour is reduced from 35 to 32, making her a bit more vulnerable, especially in the early game.

Seraphine has been one of the best champions in both the bot lane and the mid lane, which is why she is definitely in need of a nerf. Her passive has been changed and will no longer have her notes decay in damage to non-minions. Her allies' notes will also only deal 25% of Seraphine’s Note damage. Her ultimate cooldown was also increased.
Other Champions getting nerfed are:
Azir: W Sand Soldier Damage 60-160 (levels 1-18) ⇒ 50-150 (levels 1-18)
Gragas: Q Cost 60/65/70/75/80 mana ⇒ 80 mana (at all ranks)
Rammus: Health Growth 95 ⇒ 80
- Shaco: W Base and single target base damage lowered. The Jack in the Box now deals additional damage to monsters.
- Udyr: Phoenix Stance Aura total Damage 50/95/140/185/230/275 over 4 seconds ⇒ 40/80/120/160/200/240 over 4 seconds
What Items Are Being Nerfed and Buffed in Patch 11.5?
Muramana and Essence Reaver have overlapped quite a bit, hence why Muramana is going to get a bit of a new look to try and differentiate the two from one another. Muramana will now focus on enhancing abilities. Melee attacks will deal 3.5% max mana bonus damage, while ranged abilities will deal 2.7%.

Guinsoo’s has been a bit too strong, especially on champions like Senna who can just go completely bananas after building this item. Hence why some new rules apply to the quick blade. Rageblade now converts every 1% critical strike chance into 2 bonus physical damage on-hits, with a maximum of 100% critical strike chance. Wrath’s on-hit damage conversion is now affected by critical strike damage modifiers.
Other items which are getting a few changes are Black Cleaver, which won’t deal bonus damage anymore, but now give some movement speed.
Maw of Malmortius is getting a bit cheaper and Stridebreaker’s halting slash is getting its slash speed increased while the damage decay is going from 60% over 2 seconds to 40% over 2 seconds.
What Else is Coming With Patch 11.5?
Of course some epic skins! Yes, we are getting some cute, perfect for spring-time bee-themed skins. Of course, everyone knows of Beemo, but now you will get to see cute characters like Yuumi even more adorable as she dresses up like a bee. Not to mention Pug’Maw is getting stiff competition with Bee’Maw.
