Lunar Revel 2022: Skins, Missions & More

The Lunar Revel event will celebrate the Chinese New Year in style. You'll get new missions, rewards and more. Let's check out the details.

The Chinese New Year celebrations will start on February 1, 2022. This is going to be the year of the tiger, but why exactly are we even talking about any of this? Well, being open to new cultures is a given, but also the fact that we're receiving some epic skins in our favorite video game.

Just recently, we explained that Riot is in the hands of Tencent, a Chinese conglomerate, which means that celebrating the Chinese New Year is probably a must. But enough business, we're here to check out the upcoming Lunar Revel Event, as well as the skins that will be hitting the Rift in LoL Patch 12.02.

Skins In The Lunar Revel Event 2022

Not only are we getting more skins added to an already existing skin line, but a whole new skin universe will also be released, celebrating the year of the tiger.

But let's start at the beginning. As is almost tradition, we're going to shoot off some Firecracker skins onto the rift. These bright and colorful skins can be found right here! Spoiler: Teemo is part of the bunch.

The new skin line we've mentioned above is none other than the Porcelain skin line. All the way at the top of the article you'll be able to watch the trailer for the Lunar Revel event and get a first-hand look at some of the skins and champions part of this alternate universe.

Lunar Revel 2022: Event Mission Changes

In a blog post, Riot explained that they're going to revert some of the changes they've applied to the Debonair Event at the end of 2021. The whole event plan hasn't panned out how they'd imagined. Instead of focusing on getting Tokens, it was all about playing games, which was quite the grind. Hence, why some things have been changed for this event.

You can complete token bank missions as often as needed throughout the event. So you'll still be able to grind games. But there won't be too many other changes for the Lunar Revel Event, since Riot is still working on perfecting the art of events.

Time-Based Points in the Lunar Reven 2022 Event

You've understood all this thus far? Enough tables and time to hop onto the rift to play some missions? Well, it's time we talked about how to earn points, so you can get all those missions, right? Right. So, basically, all you've got to do is play League of Legends. You gain points depending on the length of the game. Just a quick refresher here is how many points you can earn:

Of course, you should also be excited to play some ARURF with some of these champions in Patch 12.02 as well!
