The newest LoL champion, Briar has had her splash art leaked, as well as some other key features that could define her kit. Let's go over the leaks right now.
It feels like Naafiri was just released a few days ago, but now we've already moved onto the next hot topic, which is going to be the upcoming jungler by the name of Briar. She is going to be a female jungler, something we're lacking in the extensive LoL lineup.
But the release of the champion has been pushed forward a little, with leakers revealing this brand-new junglers splash art early, as well as some hints at what her kit could entail.
New LoL Champion Briar: Leakers Reveal Splash Art
Her splash art has hit the internet a little bit early. There had been rumours surrounding the champion. Some thought she would look like a loli-vampire champion, while others debated whether she would be a strong and buff female champion similar to Illaoi.
It seems that both those predictions were wrong, with Briar looking like a teenager or a young adult.
There had been initial teasers leaked of Briar's face by content creator BigBadBear, but now the entire splash was revealed to the community, giving them a complete glimpse of what this brand-new champion will look like.
Of course, this is just a leak, so we aren't sure whether this is actually what she would look like, but we can see the medieval pillory that had been leaked before. We're going to have to wait for the official Briar release to confirm whether this is the actual splash art.
Part Of Briar's Kit Also Revealed
Along with the splash art, there was some new information on her kit as well which has been revealed. It seems that she will have different personalities which will dictate how she is played. When she is "hungry" she will be a completely different character from her normal self.
Also, some details on her kit have revealed that she should have lifesteal, a dash and a shield break as well in her kit. But that's pretty standard stuff for champions released in 2023, right?
These are all leaks though, so take everything written with a grain of salt. Who knows what the champion will actually look like when she is eventually released in the coming weeks. Judging by the leaked sound assets from the LoL-client she should go live in LoL Patch 13.18, but that is also just speculation at this point.
