LoL Patch 11.24 is live, and we've got the scoop on the key changes and the newest skins.
It’s the final patch of season 11, and we’re going to be seeing quite a lot of changes this patch once more. Pre-season is always a crazy time with a lot of changes that need to be looked over. So, what does Riot have in store for us this time around?
This is another item and system heavy patch, much like LoL Patch 11.23 was. Though this time around some underperformers and overachievers were also nerfed. Which champions got the short end of the stick? That’s what we will check out.
Caitlyn Headshot Reset Partially Restored
As we mentioned in our Patch Preview, Caitlyn will have her headshot mechanic adjusted in Patch 11.24. When Caitlyn targets an enemy marked by her W - Yordle Snap Trap or E - 90 Caliber Net, her Headshot partially resets, firing faster than a normal basic attack.
Oh, and that hilarious bug where Caitlyn shot even though she was being revived? That’s also removed in the current patch.
Kled Adjustments in LoL Patch 11.24
Until now, Skaarl’s HP has counted as bonus HP, which has made him an extremely strong tank champion. Riot wants to change that by adjusting Skaarl’s HP to count as Kled’s. This might nerf his bruiser build though, hence, why Riot has buffed his cooldowns and damage.
Will Kled be completely OP now? That’s what the balance team will have to monitor. His E – Jousting, has lower cooldowns and an increase to 65% AD damage ratio. Who is ready to ride to war?
Predator Nerfs in LoL Patch 11.24
ShowMaker’s Predator Syndra clearly hasn’t impressed the balance team at Riot Games’ and therefore, the rune is going to be nerfed in LoL Patch 11.24. The maximum move speed will be reduced from 60% to 45% and ramp up time will take 1.5 seconds.
These changes basically revert the 11.18 buffs to the rune. So, hope you enjoyed going fast across the rift because the OP Predator keystone is no more. RIP.
Chemtech and Hextech Dragon Adjustments in LoL Patch 11.24
The Hextech Dragon buff wasn’t the best, which is why it is receiving a buff in LoL Patch 11.24 (6 Ability Haste and 6% attack speed per stack) to put it on par with the rest of the dragons. The same can be said for the Chemtech Dragon Buff (6% bonus damage per stack) which is also getting strengthened in Patch 11.24
The Chemtech Dragon Soul is a whole other story, though. The buff was too strong and for us blind idiots out there, it was difficult to tell when someone was a zombie as well. So the visuals have been updated and the Chemtech Soul has been nerfed to last only 4 seconds instead of 5.

Skins Released in LoL Patch 11.24
Of course, it wouldn’t be a League of Legends patch without some skins, right? So, all the way at the beginning of 2021, fans got to vote on skin concepts they wanted. The community spoke, and they spoke out for the Crime City Nightmare concept, while Debonair 2.0 landed in second place.
What did Riot decide? To make both. So, Riot has decided to add the new Debonair 2.0 skins into the final patch with seven champions getting skins.
- Debonair 2.0 Leona
- Debonair 2.0 LeBlanc
- Debonair 2.0 Malzahar
- Debonair 2.0 Master Yi
- Debonair 2.0 Draven
- Debonair 2.0 Zed
- Debonair 2.0 Brand
Brand will also be getting a prestige skin – the final prestige skin of 2021. Will Riot finally be making some changes to the prestige points system in 2022? The Zed skin will be a legendary skin sold for 1820 RP.
