Every June, corporations become the gayest companies out there. And Riot is no different. Let's check out the Pride Month LoL Event cosmetics set to drop in LoL Patch 13.11.
Each year Riot holds a pride event for Pride Month. 2023 is not going to be any different, with multiple cosmetics getting released for players to show off their pride and colours on the rift.
With a multitude of champions already confirmed to be a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, Riot is adding a few more, or at least confirming fans' suspicions on their identity this pride month. So let's go over what we're getting in LoL Patch 13.11 for the Pride Event.
LoL Pride Event 2023: New Emotes Revealed For Patch 13.11
League of Legends Patch 13.11 is going to release on June 1, 2023. That's perfect for this year's pride celebration that is going to take place in League of Legends.
- Celebrate Pride this month with some decoration (I swear it's not tacky!)
Just like in previous years, Riot has cooked up some new content to celebrate pride and diversity in League of Legends. Last year, Riot revealed that Twisted Fate and Graves were part of the LGBTQIA+ community, while in 2021 a beautiful story for Diana and Leona was published.

This year, Riot is showcasing one of their newest champions, K'Sante, who was revealed to be gay since his release, as well as Caitlyn, Vi and Neeko. Data miners have already released the pride banner players can receive through the event, which features those champions.
We're also going to be getting three new pride emotes, two of K'Sante and one for Vi. Riot usually also has icons, as well as other small in-game cosmetics at the ready for pride, so we do think that there is going to be more fun content ahead.
Hopefully Riot does bring back the homeguards with the rainbows since those are always super pretty.
How Much Does Pride Content Cost?
In previous years Riot has given out pride content for 1 Blue Essence, so anyone will be able to afford the icons if they want. If you've got a pride icon your profile will also feature the Pride Header and you receive a rainbow homeguard.
Of course, you can change the header image in your profile anytime even with an icon equipped. So, let's get to celebrating pride in style this year!
