The jungle role is probably one of the most impactful of the game, but it's hard for new players to get a grasp due to how late they receive Smite. Now, Riot is going to decrease the level an account has to be at, before they get Smite added to their Summoner Spells.
Riot is making some changes for upcoming jungle mains. Until now, the Summoner Spell Smite has been unlocked when a player reached level 10 in League of Legends, but Riot is going to pull that forward to level 3 instead.
This is going to give new players a chance to try out the jungle role much sooner than originally possible, giving them a chance to see whether this is the role that speaks to them along with the new Quickplay mode which will replace Blind Pick in the coming weeks.
LoL: Smite Gets Unlocked Sooner – Players Worried
While it could be a good thing that Smite is unlocked earlier now, some players are worried over this change to League of Legends, especially if it is new players who will want to try out jungle.
League of Legends is an extremely complex game, with five roles that have very specific tasks. Out of the five, the jungle role requires the most game knowledge. Therefore, to give players time to at least get an overview of the game and map, Smite had been locked behind reaching level 10.
The new change could push new players into the jungle role much sooner than they are ready for, and players are worried that the lack of tutorials in League of Legends could create chaos.
Players have been saying that the tutorial in League of Legends is lacking and does not give enough insight into the mechanics of League of Legends. Some want tutorials for every single lane, rather than just giving champions from the lanes as options as they all pummel their way down mid.

Riot Crabdust did state on Reddit that the team is working on "additional support and training features for new players" but it seems highly unlikely that those will be released along with the new Quickplay mode.
League does have a pretty simple tutorial, so it's interesting to see how long it'll take for a more extensive one to be added to the game... but when I think back to my tutorial on the Howling Abyss and compare it to the one players get now, I already see an improvement.
