It's time. Riot has just revealed the trailer for the upcoming Aurelion Sol CGU in League of Legends, getting fans hyped for the upcoming changes to the champions kit and gameplay.
Aurelion Sol is going to be one of the most sought-after champions once his Comprehensive Gameplay Update (CGU) goes live with LoL Patch 13.3. But to get players even more excited for the changes, Riot has just released a hype trailer for the space dragon.
Riot Games usually doesn't miss when it comes to trailers and hype videos. That's why this trailer for the upcoming ASol CGU is just insane and has fans are excited for this new iteration of one of the strongest beings in all of League's lore.

First of all, let's take a moment, sit back and enjoy the trailer, because it's honestly a masterpiece. Riot should have just used this as their Season 13 cinematic and it would have been better than the drone tour of Summoner's Rift we got earlier this year.
Now if that doesn't make you feel like you're about to embark on a journey to take down Targon and avenge your imprisonment, then I don't know what does... do you even have a heart?
Jokes aside, in this trailer we get some lore tidbits which is always nice, but we also get to see Aurelion Sol CGU gameplay. Which yes, we've got to see it before, but him just bodying Zoe right off the bat feels... right... for some reason.

The trailer keeps the feeling of Aurelion Sol. The voice acting is superb, ASol sounds like a cocky asshole, everything we knew about him and love about the character of the champion.
The animations are stunning as well as we get a look at various regions of Runeterra, all of which wouldn't exist if it wasn't for Aurelion Sol since he's a Star Forger, someone who creates whole worlds.
This is a perfect trailer for the upcoming CGU which gives ASol a brand-new kit while keeping his character and design mostly intact. Let's just hope he won't be too broken at first, with some pretty interesting bugs already being found on the PBE ahead of his release in LoL Patch 13.3.
