Vayne, Irelia, Riven, Olaf and Diana are getting Sentinels skins in LoL Patch 11.14. They’re currently being tested on PBE. But did these skins spoil what might be coming in Airship Syndicate’s Ruined King: A League of Legends Story?
Some of Vayne's voice lines depict a few champions which we know all too well and whom we’ve seen in the trailer for the turn-based RPG that we’ve been waiting for for over a year now. The game will tie directly into the current storyline of the Ruination, but has some of it already been spoiled by Riot themselves?
What is Ruined King: A League of Legends Story?
Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, is a turn-based RPG that is set to come out later this year. The game is a collaborative effort between Airship Syndicate and Riot Forge to bring a Runeterra to life in a new way.

The game will be set in Bilgewater and the Shadow Isles and features various champions from League of Legends. Champions like Illaoi, Miss Fortune and Pyke make perfect sense, but a lot of fans still wonder why Braum is in Bilgewater and we’re excited to find out when playing the game.
Have Some Parts of the Game Been Spoiled by the Sentinels Skins?
The League team and the Riot Forge team collaborated heavily on the Sentinels event and made sure that the event won't have any Ruined King spoilers.

Now, we’re going to put a quick disclaimer. Read at your own risk from here on out, because the short answer is yes. A few facts have slipped through with the voice lines of the new Sentinels skins. Some of the voice lines and interactions may have something to do with the turn-based RPG.
- League of Legends Patch 11.13 just came out and with it, we have some epic new Astronaut Skins. Oh and new items as well as an update to mobility.
Airship Syndicate and Riot worked together closely to try and keep the event as spoiler-free as possible, but a few things did have to slip through, which will also be revealed in the upcoming RPG.
Ryan 'Reav3' Mireles, lead Champion producer, also stated on Reddit that the game, as well as the upcoming mid lane mage, were supposed to be released before the Sentinels event, but unfortunately, these plans were pushed back due to the pandemic.
What was Spoiled by the Sentinels Skins?
The two biggest spoilers are probably the fact that Miss Fortune will also succumb to the Ruination and that Pyke is going to be joining the Sentinels. There are specific voice lines for Vayne when she encounters ‘Ruined Miss Fortune’ and ‘Sentinel Pyke’ which should indicate that something happens to the two of them when they journey to the Shadow Isles.

Also, Graves is referred to as a Sentinel by Vayne. He is a champion from Bilgewater as well and could be someone included in Ruined King: A League of Legends Story, but that isn’t confirmed 100%.
There are many things tying this event to the upcoming RPG and we can’t wait to see what easter eggs Riot and Airship Syndicate have hidden for us to find once we also get to play the upcoming RPG.
