Silco Will Not Be a Champion in League of Legends, BUT...

Arcane has taken over the world and fans have started to beg for certain characters to be made into champions. Silco won't be one of them though.

Arcane, it’s an insanely well-made show and fans just can’t get enough of it. The finale came out almost two weeks ago and people still aren’t over it, creating multiple theories regarding Shimmer, Noxus and dissecting each piece of lore behind the show.

So, of course, fans were also hyped to find out that Riot stated some characters from the show could also be made into champions in the future. Mel Medarda as a scheming jungler? Yes, please. Sevika as a monster top laner? Of course.

So now we have some confirmation regarding the potential characters coming to League of Legends.

Is Silco Going to be a Champion in League of Legends?

It seems like Silco will not be a champion in League of Legends. How do we know this? Well, with the announcement that Silco will be joining the list of Teamfight Tactics characters, we also got some news from the TFT developers regarding his status as a champion in League of Legends.

Typically, we’re able to adapt League of Legends champions to Teamfight Tactics, with, well, a lot of work, but Silco isn’t coming to League of Legends, so we’ve had to build him from the ground up.

Judging by this statement, it doesn’t seem like we will be getting to play Silco anytime soon on Summoner’s Rift. RIP for all you Silco fanboys and fangirls.

Silco Will be Playable in TFT

Set 6 has come out a few patches ago and multiple champions from the Netflix series Arcane have made their way onto the board. Heimerdinger? Yeah, he’s pretty strong even though he preaches all about safety in Arcane… what a switch in personality.

Jayce, Jinx, Vi and Caitlyn are all connected in TFT as well, just like in Arcane, but now TFT is going to be getting their very own unique character. Silco, who played a huge part in Arcane, will be made into a character in TFT as well!

Will he be a chemtech champion, or is a whole new trait going to be introduced just for Silco? We’re excited to find out more about Silco in TFT Set 6.5.
