Anivia has been tearing up Summoner's Rift over the last few patches. Will she be just as strong as before or will the nerfs which she received in Patch 11.3 sweep her off the map? We look at the 5 Best Mid Laners in the current meta.
In this LoL tier list, we'll show you the best champions for each lane. We especially focus on win rate and9 the carry potential because you often have to carry your teammates in any given game. Today, we will look at the mid-lane.
Which Mid Laners Are Strong in LoL Patch 11.3?
5. Galio
Patch 11.3 has made mages even stronger and what counters those mages? Well, none other than the giant Gargoyle Galio. Thanks to his shield as well as his ultimate he can easily go toe-to-toe with mages while being almost uncontested since bruisers have fallen off quite a bit in the current meta. Sure, Zhonya’s is more expensive which means he will get his power spike just a bit later, but it won’t stop Galio from owning the mid lane in Patch 11.3.
4. Malzahar
- KEEP READING: LoL: What to Expect from Patch 11.4
Malzahar is an amazing pick this patch thanks to his great waveclear in the early game, meaning he will push in the opponents at all times. His ultimate will also lock down targets and kill them with ease, which makes him a scary pick even in the later stages of the game. This patch he is even stronger thanks to the buff to Horizon Focus which will activate whenever Malzahar uses his ult thanks to it being exactly at 700 range.
3. Ekko
Sure, we know... Ekkos key item Zhonya’s Hourglass was nerfed this patch and is more expensive, but that won’t slow him down from hopping in and out of time loops. With the lack of Bruisers this patch as well as the emergence of Mages, Ekko is feeling right at home and will be a force to be reckoned with. Ekko is a safe pick into assassins as well since he can avoid any burst damage with his ultimate.

2. Fizz
Fizz is the strongest AP Assassin in Patch 11.3. Like Ekko he will suffer a bit from the nerf to Zhonya’s hourglass, but he can easily overcome this hardship thanks to his mobility and unique playstyle, which can snowball easily into the late game and he will surely take over games.

It’s hard to punish Fizz thanks to his slippery playstyle which means players will be able to get to Level 3 or 6 almost uncontested. Farm up and scale and once in the late game, no one else can compete with the fishy Yordle. One single ultimate and the opponent has been obliterated off the map.
1. Yone
Yone is very happy about the buffs to Immortal Shieldbow. The added attack speed and attack damage is just what Yone needed to make it to the top of the list and to become one of the most annoying champions to play against in the mid lane, not to mention the lack of bruisers in the current meta.
Once Yone has some items he will have insane lifesteal as well as crit damage which will go completely and utterly unchallenged this patch. He will be able to carry games singlehandedly and just not die, which makes him the best mid laner in Patch 11.3.
