TFT: Will Dazzlers Finally Dazzle in Patch 10.22?

This coming Wednesday TFT Patch 10.22 will be coming out with quite a few changes. The nine-tailed Fox, Ahri, has been running rampant after the Divine nerfs which took place only a week ago and Riot is looking to make the game a little more even.

There will be a couple of trait changes, as well as multiple champions who are going to see some of their power reduced, while others will hopefully be seeing more play-time once Wednesday hits.

Incoming Changes to Multiple Traits

Dazzler has been quite an unused trait, especially the 4-Champion buff seemed a little unnecessary. Riot has decided to buff the AD reduction with a 4-Dazzler comp from 50% to 80% and reduced the time frame from 15 seconds to 8.

Along with Dazzler, Sharpshooter will also change. Riot wanted to make 2-Sharpshooter slightly more attractive, reducing the damage reduction per bounce from 65% to 55% while 6-Champion Sharpshooter was nerfed from 35% to 45% damage reduction per bounce.

Ninja was buffed on the last patch, but Riot is pulling back from that just a tad. The trait gained a solid 150 Spellpower and Attack Damage when all 4 Ninja’s assembled. Riot is nerfing this down to 140.

More Dazzler Changes Even with Champions!

Lissandra will have her spell adjusted to now hit the champion with the highest Attack Damage on the opposing team rather than just the one closest to her. This will make playing her with a Dazzler comp way more attractive since she can really cut down on champions like Talon or Zed.

She isn’t the only Dazzler to be getting a change to her kit though. Ezreal will be able to cast his spell earlier, which is going to make him heal his team and just be of more use in the lategame. Morgana will also have a change to the randomness of her ultimate. Instead of choosing one champion at random, Morgana will now pick between two champions and then choose the one with more enemies around.

Akali is going to get nerfed. After casting a spell she will now have to wait 1.25 seconds before she can start to gain mana again. This is done so players don’t just build Blue Buff on her, but to broaden the items which can be used.

A nerf everyone is in desperate need of is the one which is foreseen for Ahri. Up until this point players have just build Vanguard and Mystic and sat Ahri into the backline to freely hit and destroy opponents. Now her spell power will be reduced for the 1- and 2-Star form. Hopefully, this will make other comps viable as well.

Up until this point Vayne has been completely overlooked. She doesn’t deal enough damage and players merely use her as a place holder to activate the Sharpshooter synergy. Because of that, she is going to be given a buff to the true damage on every third hit. She will now deal 50/90/140 instead of 40/70/125.

Sett was the 5-Cost everyone was vying for a few patches ago, but since his nerfs came in he hasn’t been the same as he once was. He will also be seeing a slight buff to his primary spell damage which was increased from 35/45/400% to 40/60/400%.
