Rocketbelt was nerfed in the recent patch which has affected champions like Galio and made them a little weaker this patch. Which champions are the best in the mid-lane in patch 11.2 though? We take a look.

In this LoL tier list, we'll show you the best champions for each lane. We especially focus on win rate and the carry potential because you often have to carry your teammates in any given game. Today, we will take a look at the mid-lane.

Not a mid-laner? We also have Support and ADC guides:

Which Mid-Laners Are Strong in LoL Patch 11.2?

5. Malzahar (Win Rate: 53.3%)

The perfect counter to assassins is Malzahar. All you need to do is click R and there is nothing an assassin can do. His wave clear is amazing, which means you’ll have control over the lane and these annoying assassin picks won't be able to roam and get kills elsewhere. This makes Malzahar a great champion and tool in the current meta.

4. Pantheon (Win Rate: 52.3%)

Thanks to the buff to Umbral Glaive, Pantheon has made his way from Support to one of the best Mid Laners. Lethality Pantheon is the way to go when playing him in the mid-lane this patch. Being flashed on by him even when he is still building the item will bring opponents a world of pain.

3. Seraphine (Win Rate: 55.0%)

Seraphine is a teamfight goddess. Avoid skirmishes in the earlier stages of the game since she is rather squishy and she has long cooldowns. Once she has some AP she will be able to snipe and take down opponents with her Q. Her W is a great sustain tool for teamfights, since it stacks and the movement speed can really help her team out. Overall, she is a great team-oriented mid-laner this patch.

2. Anivia (Win Rate: 54.3%)

Anivia has just been killing it since her mini-rework in Patch 10.25. Her auto-attack speed is insane and lets her put out damage left and right. If opponents are merely touched by her Q – not just if they got stunned – they get frostbitten.

Build some Ability Haste and then her cooldown on her ultimate in the late game will be non-existent, meaning you can spam the ability over and over. She will be able to assist her team in all situations. Her W lets her cut off enemies in battle or isolate certain targets, which can be huge in a fight.

1. Fizz (Win Rate: 52.2%)

Okay yes, Ravenous Hunter was nerfed this patch, but that hasn’t slowed Fizz down one bit. His damage output is still insane. So just build cooldown boots, Zhonya’s and Liandries and you’ve got everything Fizz wants – damage, survivability and Ability Haste.

Fizz is an insanely slippery champion who loves to leave lane and roam for ganks. He is the ultimate trickster and can evade opponents' attacks with ease due to his mobility. He will also snowball any lead and can carry his team on his back if needed. So go out there, play Fizz and win those Solo Queue games.
