The open Beta of Wild Rift has proven to be quite good in the regions available thus far, especially in Asia, where mobile gaming is already quite popular. The only Asian region still missing is India which will add another huge amount of players, since India is known for its predominant mobile market.
At the beginning of the year, Riot had also announced that they would be holding competitions and tournaments for the game, which would kick off in the Asian market, and slowly make their way to the west. This is due to the slow launch in North America, but with the beta being released sometime this month, hopefully, North American fans and hopefuls will have a chance to compete later on in the year.
