Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6 is in the starting blocks. Already next week you can expect new content in the current series and warzone mode. We have summarized all the new features in detail.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6 and the new season in Warzone will start this coming Tuesday, August 29. You’ll be able to look forward to loads of new content. And we’ve summarized it all for you right here.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6: Subway Network in Warzone
The popular Battle Royale mode Call of Duty Warzone actually gets the subway system that was leaked some time ago with Season 6. So it's not surprising that the majority of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6 trailer takes place underground.
The subway is the second big map change since the release of Warzone after the trains in Season 5. Exact details about the new means of transportation were not given in the trailer, in total there will be seven stations spread over the whole map of Verdansk:
- M1 — Verdansk International Airport
- M2 — Verdansk Stadium
- M3 — Gorengard Lumber Yard
- M4 — Downtown Tavorsk District
- M5 — Barakett Promenade East
- M6 — Verdansk Train Station
- M7 — Torsk Bloc
As a reminder: A previous leak from the CDL Finals had already revealed what the entrances might look like.

New Weapons in Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6
What would a new Call of Duty season be without new firearms? The AS VAL will expand the category of assault rifles, but did not find much mention in the trailer. But how do we know that it will be the VAL? Well from leaked gameplay of course.
The values of the weapon are not known, but it seems to have an enormously high rate of fire and thus possibly bridge the gap between assault rifles and SMGs.
Not to be seen was the second new weapon, which could be either the R700 sniper rifle or the AA-12 shotgun already known from Call of Duty 4. One of them could be released together with the AS VAL at the start of the new season, while the other one should be waiting for us in the course of time.
New Operators: Farah & Nikolai
Two new operators are also joining in Call of Duty Modern Warfare Season 6, whom you may already know from the single player campaign: Farah and Nikolai.
Both are part of the Season 6 Battle Pass: Farah is unlocked directly at the first level, while Nikolai becomes active at level 100.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare & Warzone Season 6 will start on September 29th - an exact time does not exist yet. However, we'll probably start again at 20:00, while we'll be happy to receive the complete patch notes on Monday.
