Cyberpunk 2077, or rather CD Projekt Red, is desperately trying to make up for what they’ve done wrong. However, what goes on behind closed doors is a mystery to us. Or rather... was. The Lead Designer for Cyperbunk 2077 made a very important statement during his stream.
You remember when Cyberpunk 2077 came out, right? You remember just how upset you and everyone else was about the disaster that was supposed to be so freaking glorious? Well, you weren’t the only one that was upset, because the lead designer of the game, Paweł Sasko, shared some insights on how it was for the guys at CDPR themselves.
In case you’re wondering what a lead designer for a game like Cyberpunk 2077, in this case, Paweł Sasko, is doing on Twitch: he streams Cyberpunk. To redeem the game? To vent? To try and get you to play the game after all? Who knows. What we do know, however, is that Sasko used his latest stream for some heart-to-heart-talk with his audience, where he shared just how hard it was for the guys and girls working on Cyberpunk 2077.
"I saw some people asking what happened with the company that has made The Witcher 3 to make Cyberpunk. [...] I don't really feel that you fully and completely understand how difficult was to make this game. I’m not saying that you guys should be giving us more credit for it because you should demand a fully functional and well-done game, and that's your right. The thing that I'm talking about is more of an acknowledgement, you know, that was a very difficult game to make, a very ambitious one, and we've tried to pull off as much as we could on all the fronts.”
You can tell just how hard it is for him to say all these things and wear his heart on his sleeve like that. By the end of it all, he's close to a breakdown, crying in front of fans that are still holding on to hope. Maybe with this, people will finally understand that it wasn't Sasko's fault, nor that of any other passionate worker at CDPR. The decision makers who pushed the release date forward... that's on them.

We hope that Sasko and the rest of CDPR are doing okay and we, for one, hope that they will continue to work on Cyberpunk and turn it into the game that was promised to us. After all, it still has a lot of potential to become that great game, with all these patches that are coming out these days!
