Valheim: All You Need to Know
As mentioned, in Valheim you play as a Viking and try to survive for as long as you can. You'll be able to collect resources, craft, fight, sail, and much more. In addition, the game supports up to 10 players in co-op making it perfect for a huge gathering of friends. For the same reason, it's also popular with streamers.
In just a few weeks the game climbed to the top of Steam and now sits comfortably in first place of the top sellers. It easily beats games like Cyberpunk 2077, Nioh 2, Sekiro, XCOM 2, and many others in terms of raw revenue - now that's something. Currently, Valheim is only available on PC through the Steam platform - that makes it a double exclusive. Naturally, all those sales are coming from players and it comes as no surprise that the game already has a huge player base.
At the time of writing the game is at 11th place of the most played titles on Steam. According to the devs that's only the beginning as they have a long road map ahead if the community is there to support them.
