Axo is looking good in Fortnite - under and above water

What's this suddenly popping up in Fortnite's skin pool? A really adorable little fish? The skin is based on the real creature Axolotl and now makes it roams the lands of Fortnite - well befitting the Atlantis theme.

Once upon a time there was a little Axolotl that splashed around under the flooded Fortnite map. Then the water sank and little Axo developed long legs and an upright strut. And there it is, probably the cutest Fortnite skin since the water in Fortnite sank: the Axo Skin.

Since a few days there's been a new favorite among the Fortnite Skins: The Axo Skin. The skin can be played in three variations, including an all-black Axo, and belongs to the "Axolotl Attack!" set. It is designed after the real living Axolotl, but with a basketball theme added for good measure. This shows up in not only the basketball jersey, but also the back bling in the form of a basketball hoop:

A basketball hoop on his back, a jersey on his chest... If you like it less sporty, you can choose the black Axo, with a different back bling. Whichever version you choose, the new Fortnite skin fits perfectly with the Atlantis theme, which was recently added to the Fortnite map. But Axo is not alone in conquering the new lands of the Battle Royale, no, another mermaid can be purchased in the Item Shop: Bryne. This skin has also been clearly tailored to the underwater theme, with fin-like elements and hair looking like corals floating in water:

So, if you want to completely embrace the Atlantis theme, the Axo and Bryne Skin in Fortnite is the best choice. We have more cool skins and Fortnite news here on EarlyGame for you to check out:
