LoL's new champion Sett will even fight you, too. But first, let’s have a look at what else he can do.
League of Legends already has Aphelios on Summoner's Rift but Riot Games was quick on the ball announce another champion. Sett, the Hero, is the latest brawler champion being added into the game who loves to solve problems with his fists. Making a career out of fighting, he’s here to take Runeterra over with his bare fists alone. His gameplay looks incredibly straightforward in comparison to Aphelios (whose skillset I still can’t fully comprehend to this day) and seems like a perfect fit for Riot’s fighting game they announced not too long ago.
Sett's kit - A Brawler's Paradise
A full breakdown of Sett’s kit can be found here:
Right now, it seems League of Legends was lacking a decent, straightforward champion, let alone a fighter, since the release of Riven. Sett’s kit and abilities are where the true fun is.
Knuckle Down (Q)
His Q ability is Knuckle Down, where Sett is “itching for a fight,” gaining extra movement speed towards enemy Champions as well as some bonus psychical damage.
Haymaker (W)
Sett's W, Haymaker, helps Sett store all damage and deal out a huge punch as true damage dealing massive damage.
Facebreaker (E)
Sett's E ability, Facebreaker, gets Sett smashing surrounding enemies into each other, dealing damage and slowing them down for a time.
The Show Stopper (R)
Sett's ultimate ability, The Show Stopper, will grab an enemy and slam them into the floor (our office favorite) dishing out tons of damage to all nearby enemies, which scales depending on their proximity.
Discussions first began a few weeks back when Surrenderat20 revealed a special loot asset called: ‘Sett’s calling card’ had appeared in the game as part of the League of Legend patch 9.24 PBE test cycle. Furthermore, multiple players then reported emails from Riot Games hinting at a new champion. We’re looking forward to seeing Sett hit the Rift as soon as possible.
