After the previous FIFA 20 Summer Heat vote kept us within the compounds of Ligue 1, this time EA Sports went for players from three separate leagues, while also introducing the Position Swap mechanic into Summer Heat.
Paris Saint-Germain central defender Presnel Kimpembe won the Ligue 1 Summer Heat voting battle. This time, we can pick players from the leagues in England, Spain, and Germany. EA Sports also revealed that Position Swap would play a specific role in this vote, yet they did not clarify how exactly that is going to work.
FIFA 20 Summer Heat Player Vote #4
You might have grown accustomed to how the Summer Heat voting works, but we’re just making sure. When you log into FIFA Ultimate Team, a choice of three players will automatically show up on the screen. Click on the one you’d like to win. That’s it.
At the end of the vote, the player with the most votes will receive a boosted special card in the FIFA 20 Summer Heat promo. This week, the following three players are up for election:
- RB: Thomas Meunier – 82 OVR (Borussia Dortmund)
- RW: Ousmane Dembélé – 84 OVR (Barcelona)
- RW: Allan Saint-Maximin – 79 OVR (Newcastle United)
At first glance, the winner is fairly obvious. Ousmane Dembélé holds the highest starting rating and is playing for Barcelona – by far the most popular of the three sides. Allan Saint-Maximin could be fierce competition as FUT 20 players hold him in high regard, and once you are in and around the 90 OVR mark, a couple of points differential doesn’t make that much difference anyway.
We’d still throw our money on the Barcelona winger to emerge victorious in this vote. Thomas Meunier, we’re afraid, is bound to the bronze medal here.
