NICKMERCS left Call of Duty in the dust last year after a huge scandal broke out when he made controversial remarks regarding the LGBTQIA+ community. Those comments led to his skin getting removed from the game and him quitting the game as well.

Now, the streamer has made his return to the franchise, ready to play it once more on Kick.

NICKMERCS Returns To CoD

On February 6, NICKMERCS stated that he would be playing Call of Duty once more on stream, somehting he hasn't done since the controversy broke out. It seems that half a year was as long as he could stay away from the game, eh?

As announcement he posted his NICKMERCS operator skin landing on the battlefield, writing only "Tomorrow" as the caption. This got his fans pretty hyped and excited, since playing Call of Duty was his bread and butter before the feud happened.

Other content creators also seem to support his decision, with streamer TimTheTatman commenting under the post "we're so back". This could indicate that we will be seeing some collab streams with the two playing CoD together in the near future, maybe.

We are going to have to wait until the actual stream to find out more on what made NICKMERCS decide to come back to Call of Duty and Warzone. Hopefully he will explain during the stream to let the fans know, but for now, players can just be excited to watch him play CoD again. Maybe his skin is going to be re-added?
