Thatcher is a great operator, who effectively disables almost all the defenders' utilities (just watch out for Frost mats) for a whopping ten seconds. This gives you plenty of time to assist your team in breaching an electrified wall or pushing into sight smoothly, as all defender gadgets and traps are useless for 10 seconds.
He counters nearly every defender gadget, has a solid weapon with minimal recoil, and comes equipped with claymores for flank cover, making him a top choice for both solo and team play.
