If you play a game of Battle Royale in Warzone right now, there is a small chance that the usual cinematic of Graves will be interrupted by a mysterious clip that teases Black Ops 6. This is just one of a number of BO6 teasers recently added to the game, which hint at some kind of reveal event coming to Warzone.
We've known about the next Call of Duty (which we originally thought was going to be called Black Ops Gulf War) for a while, thanks to leaks. But Black Ops 6 has now been officially revealed by Activision.
Much of the early information beside the name was correct; Treyarch are the lead studio, the game will be set in the 90s during the Gulf War, and it will lean heavily on espionage and spying.
A number of teasers for the game have just been added to Warzone, including a strange clip of Master Sergeant Frank Woods that interrupts the usual Warzone intro. All the teasers seem to point to an upcoming reveal event in-game.
BO6 Teaser Reveals Frank Woods
First things first, here is the clip:

As you can see in the clip, Woods is in a wheelchair, and he tells you:
New orders kids. We got intel there might be key information to finally reveal that mole we've been hunting. Now get out there and get to work.
The fact he's in a wheelchair confirms that the events of Black Ops 2 are canon, because in a flashback scene set in 1989 from that game, Menéndez (a villain) shoots Woods in both his legs. And the mole he's referring to is probably Adler, based on the post-release story from Black Ops Cold War.
Multiple Other Easter Eggs Added To Warzone
And this wasn't the only Black Ops 6 teaser added to Warzone in the most recent update. In fact, this teaser was one of four Easter eggs, which when discovered will each complete one of the new challenges quietly added to the events section:
- In Warzone, Get 1 Operator Kill with an Old Friend
- To complete this challenge, you need to find the "Sally" Blueprint for the 1911 on Rebirth, and then get a kill with it.
- Discover Intel to Uncover the Mole
- This is completed as soon as you watch the clip of Woods above in-game.
- She Never Let Me Down
- Read the journal in Urzikstan's Bunker 7 to complete this challenge, the journal reveals that the CIA want to bring in Adler, the mole. To get a Bunker Keycard finish a Most Wanted Contract, and this is one of the default rewards.
- Gained the Exclusive Execution
- You get this Execution unlocked, and therefore complete the challenge, as soon as you complete the other three challenges listed above.
The reward for completing all these challenges is a Calling Card that looks like the Mission Board from BOCW, and on the board we can see three locations that will be important in BO6: Kuwait, Washington and Avalon.
Reveal Event Seems Like To Follow
When we take all the teasers for Black Ops 6 together, they clearly hint at some kind of upcoming Warzone event in which Black Ops 6 will be revealed. A similar thing has happened with the past four Call of Duty games, so it comes as no surprise. In fact, it would be stranger if they didn't do a reveal event like this.
What do you expect them to do for the event? We expect nukes will be involved, as they were very significant in Verdansk during Warzone's first-year, and we know that Verdansk is returning to CoD's BR with Black Ops 6. But at this point it could be anything.
Here's what we know about Black Ops 6 so far...
