Frosty Fest returns to Rocket League again this year. Four exciting modes and some rewards are up for grabs until January - we have all the info for you right here and now! Let's start our engines! (last car-pun, I promise)

It's Christmas time in Rocket League: On December 14, the famous Frosty Fest event will start and there will be a total of three sections, each with special game modes and rewards.

Frosty Fest

The following events will be available during Frosty Fest:

  • December 14 at 6 p.m.: Frosty Fest kicks off with Winter Breakaway
  • December 21: Spike Rush returns
  • December 28: Heatseeker returns
  • January 4: Frosty Fest comes to an end

Frosty Fest: Winter Breakaway

Hype! This awesome map returns! The Winter Breakaway mode will bring us back to Throwback Stadium, which holds some special features. This is a stadium in the original game, where the nets are not a part of the field wall, but are placed on the field with space behind them – similar to ice hockey. This allows for some new game maneuvers, where you can also play the ball behind the goal.

In addition, the already known Spike Rush and Heatseeker modes will return, which will also be played on the winter maps. The Rocket League Frosty Fest 2020 will end on January 4.

Challenges and Items

There are many rewards to grab during the Frosty Fest, which will only be available during the event. These include the Mr. Floeberg antenna, which you can pick up for free in the item store during the entire event. In addition, there are numerous roof attachments, rims, and also car stickers, for example, the animated "Xmas Lights".

How exactly you unlock the items is still unknown. It will probably be smaller challenges that you can complete with only little effort. This also includes the Golden Gifts loot boxes that will also drop special items.
