Ark: The Animated Series surprised us all when the series was released completely unannounced on Paramount+. Now it's captivating viewers with top reviews and its star-studded cast.
Out of nowhere, Ark: The Animated Series appeared on Paramount+ without any announcement or advertising. The game-based series was already announced at The Game Awards 2020 and was supposed to be released in 2022. However, that didn't happen. When the first trailer for Ark: The Animated Series was released in 2023 there was still no release date known. But to the surprise of many, the series has now been released on Paramount+.

Ark: The Animated Series Release on Paramount+
To the surprise of all fans, Paramount+ has now released the first six episodes of Ark: The Animated Series in Canada and the USA without any further announcement. In Germany and other Paramount+ regions the series will be released on April 19.

The first season is supposed to have a total of 13 episodes, so seven more are currently pending. However, when these will be available on Paramount+ is still not known.
But now we know the impressive cast of the series. Just like in the game, Vin Diesel is also part of the series and alongside him there are also many other well-known names.

In Ark: The Animated Series, the story revolves around the paleontologist Helena Walker (Madden), who awakens on a mysterious island populated by ancient beasts. There, she must learn to survive in a world full of dinosaurs while trying to uncover the secrets of this world.
The series has received very good reviews overall, IGN rated it 8/10 and even described it as "The Jurassic World Reboot we all needed".
Matching the release of Ark: The Animated Series, there is also an in-game event in the game Ark: Survival Ascended. In Bob’s ‘Dear Jane’ ARK Animated Series Event, players can find letters voiced by Karl Urban and unlock animated costumes of the show's characters. New letters will be added over time so players can experience the story parallel to the series.
