Fortnite developer Epic Games to add many other real-world personalities into the game. Ninja is the first.
Fortnite is finally adding a Ninja skin to the game starting on January 16. Tyler “Ninja” Blevins formally announced the launch on a stream, shouting in excitement after teasing on his social media a few days prior to the big announcement.
I've dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game. Today, my dream becomes reality. Get the Ninja Fortnite Skin in the Epic store Thursday 6 p.m. CST-Sunday 7 p.m. Don't forget to use code NINJA! #NinjaSkin #EpicPartner pic.twitter.com/xTn9UlbkGI

“We finally got a Ninja skin. In the game. In Fortnite. We did it,” he said in excitement. The blue-haired streamer finally has a piece of himself in the game he’s been playing for years.
And boy, does it look like him. See further down below in the article for everything that comes with this skin. “It looks just like me,” Blevins exclaimed while streaming himself playing as... himself? The skin in question has spiky blue hair, a blue jacket with a hood, and black pants. There will be four different variations and back bling options that even include the iconic dual katanas.
How to get the Ninja Fortnite skin
According to Ninja’s tweet, his skin will be part of the new Icon Series. We can only assume that there will be multiple personalities added into the game. Soon came an official confirmation from Fortnite:
We're bringing the artistic vision, personality and attitude of our top creators to Fortnite with the Icon series, starting with @Ninja!This is just the beginning of gaming, music, film, and fashion colliding in Fortnite.Read more here: https://t.co/iIV9SHq3zM

To get the skin in question, you'll need to log into the Epic Game Store between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. Central Standard Time on Thursday, January 16. Ninja stated on stream that the skin would be available from then until sometime after January 19 with no confirmation on whether we’ll have extended availability past that date.
There is still no official information (as of January 16, 2020) in how many V-Bucks the skin will set you back. Considering its nature and what it includes, assumptions in comments seem to range between 1,500 V-Bucks and 2,000 V-Bucks. While Blevins is officially the first, according to Epic’s official blog post, more collaborations will be on the way shortly, with streamers such as Loserfruit included.
As promised, here is what the skin looks like with and without the face mask. I must say, it really, really does look like Ninja:
I’m pretty sure this is how I would imagine a Ninja skin to look like. My favorite is the masked version below:
Now, this looks pretty badass. He’s looking sinister and ready to take that epic Victory Royale.
You can check out the famous streamer’s official reaction to his skins in the video below.
So get ready for some interesting times in Fortnite, folks! This is just the beginning!
