Cyberpunk 2077 Preload Leaks

The Cyberpunk 2077 Preload Leaks might be frustrating for CD Projekt Red, but we can’t help the joy we feel when we see them. At least if you’re not playing on PC. Here’s what’s been leaked:

The last Cyberpunk 2077 leaks that came out last week weren’t exactly a reason to be excited. Gameplay leaks mean spoilers, and spoilers are bad. But Cyberpunk 2077 Preload leaks? Now that is a whole other story.

Only 8 more days until Cyberpunk 2077 will finally be released, and everything and everyone is ready for the big day. Only the technical details were missing. Those were now revealed in a Cyberpunk 2077 Preload Leak, and while that sparks joy in most, PC players are feeling very nervous all of a sudden.

Both the size as well as the day of the preload have been leaked.

Preload date
Preload dates can always change, but it's good to finally see a proper number! (Image Credit: PlayStation Store)

As you can see in the picture above, the date for the preload has been stated as December 8 on the PlayStation Store. Now, these kinds of dates can still change (as an example, Ghost of Tsushima was supposed to be available for preload on July 15, but then got changed to July 10).

Nevertheless, the Cyberpunk 2077 Preload Date doesn’t matter much, because either way, you won’t be able to play the game until December 10.

What truly matters though, is the file size that was revealed in the Cyberpunk 2077 Preload Leak.

In a tweet by PlayStation PlaySize, they revealed that the size for the base game on PS4 would be 72GB. Given the size of Cyberpunk 2077s world, which doesn’t surprise anyone. But now that there's a clear number, PC players are beginning to shiver. If the size of Cyberpunk 2077 on PS4 is 72GB, then what will it be on PC? How much storage will PC players have to sacrifice to install the game?

We won’t know until December 8/10 for sure, but for the sake of all the PC players, we hope you’ll manage. Until then, stick around on EarlyGame and follow us on our Twitter where we'll always post the newest and most important gaming news!
