Every second Tuesday evening we are collecting the latest player transfers from the esports scene for you. This time there are some changes in CS:GO and a new Valorant roster. Let's have a look.
In CS:GO we saw some roster changes recently and the Chinese Dota 2 superstar team is getting a new coach. League of Legends is up and running and neither the Valorant nor CoD scene is sleeping.
CS:GO: Es3tag and Floppy Going to Cloud9, Dignitas Complete Again and Biceps Is Back
Astralis: Es3tag Leaves the Team
Patrick "es3tag" Hansen switches to Cloud9 after almost four months with the Danish super team.
Astralis and Cloud9 have agreed to a transfer of Patrick @es3tag Hansen from Astralis to @Cloud9.READ MORE: https://t.co/C9xp68MlD2The transfer will be effective after DH Open Fall. Let's finish this adventure in proper fashion. #ToTheStars pic.twitter.com/W7xdsqBpTJ
— Astralis Counter-Strike (@AstralisCS) October 15, 2020
Es3tag joined Astralis at the beginning of July and helped the team regain the top of the CS:GO world rankings with a 1.12 rating after winning the ESL Pro League Season 12 Europe with them.
With his move to Cloud9, he hopes to gain new experiences and the opportunity to accompany a completely newly founded team on its way to success.
Astralis is thus back with an active six-man roster, but has already announced that they are considering playing with 10 players in the future, that is two complete rosters.
Cloud9: Floppy and Es3tag Complete New Roster
Cloud9's new roster called Colossus is completed by Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and Ricky "floppy" Kemery.
A familiar face joins the fray as the 6th page in #C9CSGO's new chapter...Please welcome @floppyCSGO back to the #C9FAM as the 4th player of the Colossus! pic.twitter.com/WyRhM516F7
— Cloud9 (@Cloud9) October 7, 2020
Floppy has been part of Cloud9 since the beginning of the year and is considered one of the most promising talents in the North American scene. Together with es3tag, ALEX, mezii, woxic and coach kassad, he forms the new C9 roster. Although the team is already complete, C9 is still looking for another sixth player for the roster. We are curious what the new roster has to offer.
Vitality: Nivera as Sixth Man
Nabil "Nivera" Benrlitom reinforces Vitality as the sixth man on their roster.
I'm super excited to be joining @TeamVitality's ranks today and play alongside @Vitality_apEX @RpKTANKK @misutaaaCSGO @shoxCSGO @zywoo as well as @XTQZZZ @MaT_CSGO Can't wait to start this new adventure! #VForVictory pic.twitter.com/DCfMKAet5a
— Nivera (@Nivera__) October 16, 2020
The Belgian formerly played for Heretics and joins an otherwise completely french team. His teammates apEX, RpK and shox will thus be reunited with a Benrlitom again as they had already played with Nivera's older brother Scream. With his transfer to Vitality, Nivera steps out of his brother's shadow for the first time and has the chance to prove himself on the big stage. The team announced him as an active player, not a replacement. They want to rotate constantly in the six-man roster and make changes depending on the current tournament.
Dignitas: HEAP Completes the Roster
Ludvig "HEAP" Alonso and Haris "H4RR3" Hadzic complete Dignitas CS:GO roster.
The final secret weapon for #DignitasVIE. Welcome SE @HEAPCSGO! #DIGWIN!You'll get to know HEAP in the upcoming Off the Record episode, premiering next week on https://t.co/yqw856710n! pic.twitter.com/6ExmzjZXE6
— Dignitas (@dignitas) October 13, 2020
After two of the legendary former NiP players, GeT_RiGhT and Xizt, were benched in mid-September, the team had to find replacements. HEAP is still rather inexperienced in the professional scene and will first have to prove himself in the team. Shortly before him, hallzerk was reunited with his former teammate H4RR3. We are curious if the new roster is able earn Dignitas some dignity again.
Team Liquid: PashaBiceps Becomes Active
Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski plays is active in CS:GO again.
Collabo Papito x @kubik_cs? Together with boys from his project #ARRMY by @piratesportsgg and Pasha Gaming School we will fight in Champions Division of @pleleague. I'm otpimistic after games with this youngsters. Let's go Liquid Biceps! pic.twitter.com/i3LwnqyyZj
— paszaBiceps (@paszaBiceps) October 8, 2020
The Polish CS:GO and Counter-Strike veteran had long since retired from the pro scene and was only recently signed by Team Liquid as a content creator. Now he announced that he will be competing again – in Poland with his own team called Liquid Biceps. Most of his teammates are young and still quite unknown talents from the Polish CS:GO scene.
- Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski
- Marcin "Shatar" Lubowicki
- Maciej "mYR" Żuk
- Dawid "Zefir" Seifert
- Karol "REVxD" Zieliński
- Jakub "inwood" Salwa (coach)
- Nikodem "Majster" Gulmantowicz (replacement)
We are curious what the now 32-year-old CS legend still has to offer on the server.

Dota 2: Jabz to Fnatic and ROtK Not as a Coach
Fnatic: Jabz is Back
Anucha "Jabz" Jirawong is back at Fnatic after just one month.
After searching all over SEA, we've finally found the perfect person to replace @Jabzdota.Welcome back @Jabzdota pic.twitter.com/z0UilpARMv
— FNATIC (@FNATIC) October 13, 2020
Fnatic had some problems and roster changes after the DPC was put on hold. Only in September, it was announced that Jabz will leave the team and eyyou will play actively again. But shortly after that eyyou left the team again and iceiceice decided not to renew his contract – a lot of chaos indeed. Now Jabz is back again and will take over position 4, moving DJ to position 5 and taking over the role of captain.
4AM: ROtK Not Coaching After All
Bai "rOtK" Fan will not take over the role of coach after all. After the hustle and bustle around the two players Sylar and Eurus there are now problems with the coaching situation. As it turned out in discussions with the organization, they did not have the budget to pay the Chinese star coach. rOtK had turned down several contracts with other organizations to encourage its interest in coaching the new superstar team, but 4AM kept stalling him until it was finally clear that they could not afford him. Instead, the organization brought in Chen "Xz" Zezhi as a coach.

— T1 (@T1) October 17, 2020
T1 and T1 becomes reality. The popular League of Legends streamer Tyler1 will stream under T1's flag in the future. With 3.7 million followers on Twitch, he is one of the biggest LoL streamers ever. He gained fame especially through his ID ban due to toxic behavior in the game, which was lifted only after two years. In the past, Tyler1 has been seen with LoL legend Faker on several occasions – this could probably happen even more often in the future.
Cloud9: Fudge Promoted, Assistant Coach Leaves
Ibrahim "Fudge" Allami is promoted to the main roster from the academy team and Assistant Coach Jung "RapidStar" Min-sung leaves C9.
Today we part ways with assistant League of Legends coach @MinseongJeong1. He has been an integral part of our coaching staff, and we are so grateful for all his hard work. We wish you all the best! https://t.co/rBDjhsLZHn pic.twitter.com/yWwlHftqnF
— Cloud9 (@Cloud9) October 20, 2020
Fudge will take the place of Licorice, who will be available for buyout from November. RapidStar has to leave the team and return to Korea to complete his military service. We are curious to see how the team will perform in the future.
Valorant: New Team and T1 Completes Roster
T1: Overwatch Pro Completes Roster
The Korean Overwatch pro player Jung-woo "Sayaplayer" Ha rounds off T1's Valorant roster.
All five players on @T1's new #VALORANT roster have been locked in.The final addition is former Overwatch League pro @Minon501 https://t.co/qsq59VxfIZ
— Valorant News (@ValorantUpdates) October 15, 2020
Shortly after CS:GO veteran Dazed, we have Sayaplayer, another professional FPS player join T1. Sayaplayer previously played for Florida Mayhem in the Overwatch League and made a name for himself with his incredibly good aim. In the future, he will play in Riot Games tactical shooter Valorant under the name Spyder alongside Dazed, Brax, AZK and Skadoodle. Sounds like a promising lineup.

The French phenom comes to New York. Welcome @HyDrAnml to the @andbox_official family. #HailHyDra #NYSL pic.twitter.com/l2XFABNhM4
— NYSL (@Subliners) October 9, 2020
HyDra is considered the best French CoD player since Gotaga and is one of the few new players who did not play in the Call of Duty League last season. With Clayster, ZooMaa, and Mack, he definitely has some of the currently strongest players on his side.
