Ladies and Gentlemen: Ubisoft has unveiled the 19th season of the tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege. This season is called Operation Neon Dawn and will start soon.
Five and a half years have passed since Ubisoft launched the competitive tactical shooter Rainbow Six Siege. There is no end in sight, as the success story of the multiplayer hit will continue on the next-gen consoles as well. The fourth and last season from year 5 is called Operation Neon Dawn and was finally unveiled.
Rainbow Six Siege Operation Neon Dawn is coming
The final season from year 5 of the shooter hit is called Operation Neon Dawn. After the last season Operation Shadow Legacy brought us the agent Sam Fisher among others, Y5S4 also comes up with a lot of new content.
The first teaser that Ubisoft published on Twitter doesn't reveal too much. Besides the animated logo, there is nothing to see about Operation Neon Dawn yet. At least the first teaser fits perfectly to a previous leak of Season 4:
According to this, the new operator "Aruni" might be waiting for us. Rumors are that she uses a laser to possibly damage enemies or inform you about their location. Furthermore, Aruni is said to have a robotic arm with which she can destroy walls and barricades. That would at least match the teaser image.

What we know so far about Operation Neon Dawn
While concrete details and the release date for Rainbow Six Siege Operation Neon Dawn are not yet available, there is at least some information that is known. In the roadmap for year 5 of the tactical shooter, Ubisoft already provided an overview of the new content in the first quarter.
We know that the new operator will come from Thailand, and Y5S4 again includes numerous fundamental changes to the gameplay. A rework of the Charlet map is also planned to open with the new season, while Season 4 will once again come up with a unique event - probably fitting for the Christmas season. Operation Neon Dawn will be unveiled during the EU Mini-Major Grand Finals on November 8. We can't wait!
