Those who regularly check their email seldom attach importance to newsletters. But Overwatch players should make an exception now because there is a 100-token reward in for them.

It used to be easy: By watching streams of the Overwatch League on Twitch, tokens could drop – and the fans were happy. But since the Blizzard shooter has moved to YouTube, there are no such rewards anymore, unfortunately. At least until now. In a recent Tweet, we learned that the Overwatch newsletter has changed:

Those who sign up by April 29 will receive 100 Overwatch tokens by May 6 – exactly the amount needed to unlock one of the coveted in-game skins for a hero of your choice. Not a bad incentive!

Here's how it all works

  • You must have Blizzard's Battle.net and Overwatch game accounts in good standing and a valid Overwatch game license to redeem tokens.
  • Xbox One® and PlayStation®4 system players have to link their PlayStation® Network or Xbox Live account to their Blizzard Battle.net account to redeem tokens.
  • ALL fields in the form must be filled out to be eligible to receive tokens.
  • Fill out the form with the email address associated with your active Battle.net account or tokens will not be granted.
  • If your existing record is filled out with the email address associated with an active Battle.net account and you have filled out all required fields, you will receive 100 tokens.
  • It may take several days after the campaign's end date for League Tokens to appear in your account.
  • Promotional items will expire before May 31, 2020 (and must be redeemed prior to this date).
  • Not eligible for accounts in China and Japan.

Those who have already signed up for the Overwatch newsletter can refresh their information during the same period and receive the reward as well. Click here to subscribe to the newsletter. If you need more Overwatch content, patch notes and more keep it here, with EarlyGame.
