Athena is one of the coolest and most widely-watched Rocket League content creators. The inventor of the "Athena Flick", and the star of a brand-new song and music video, Athena is a skilled Rocket League player, entertainer, and musician. She is also our Rocket League Player of the Month for August 2021. The thing about Athena is that, unlike many popular Rocket League streamers, YouTubers, and Esports players, she has an incredibly diverse skill-set. She is not just a great player, but incredible at entertaining people, and has some real skill when it comes to music (seriously, check out her music video below!). Who is Athena?
Athena is a popular American Rocket League content creator, and has received relatively high results in a number of minor Rocket League tournaments. It is not her tournament results or esports plays that make her popular, however, but instead it is about the incredible content she creates, the plays, the personality, and the skill she exhibits as an entertainer. This is the primary reason why we have chosen Athena as EarlyGame's Rocket League Player of the Month for August. Oh, and it was her birthday this month, so Happy Birthday Athena! We hope this is a nice little gift, it's the least we could do.
August has been a massive month for Athena. After signing with Envy Gaming, Athena not only had her birthday, but released a fantastic single entitled "Eternal". The video features some fantastic car-action, and Rizzo even makes a cameo! The song is great, and it's now featured in Rocket League. This leads us to one of Athena's larger achievements this month...
Part of the reason why Athena is EarlyGame's Rocket League Player of the Month is that she made Rocket League history in August. Athena became the first Rocket League creator to be featured in Rocket League Creator's Garages, a new series of bundles Psyonix is releasing to support and celebrate Rocket League content creators. Each bundle features a number of items hand-selected by the content creator in question. The first bundle featured several items selected by Athena! It was great, and the beginning of a fantastic new item series.
