Rocket League is introducing a new mode, Rocket Labs, and as part of it, a limited-time event is taking place this weekend. In addition, the moto-football game is bringing back the classic map Galleon from the days of Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.
In a trailer, Rocket League has introduced the new mode Rocket Labs - a mode in which the arenas can be completely changed, for example by adding obstacles to the pitch or changing the shape of the pitch. It is a limited-time mode that will be available again and again for a limited time in the future. This weekend is the first time!
In other news, a classic map returns to Rocket League that probably only a few players of the game know, but which long-time fans will be happy about. Galleon originally came from Rocket League's predecessor - Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. We must say that Rocket League might be shorter, but it's way less cooler.
The original map resembled a pirate ship, with a mast in the middle of the playing field and decks on the sides. The arena has been redesigned for Rocket League and the mast removed, but you can still use the raised platforms.

For now, Galleon is only available as part of the limited time Rocket Labs event and you can play on the map until 3 am CET on Tuesday, January 19.
