The Rocket League Esports Shop is getting a massive update now that RLCS 2021-22 has been announced. As Psyonix moves to improve the overall Rocket League Esports experience, let's take a look at Rocket League's new Esports Decals and the new Esports Shop.
A lot has been announced regarding RLCS 11, with tons of news jumping around online about the various new features being launched in October. The one that will, at least in our opinion, have the biggest effect on the community is the refurbishing of the Esports Shop. A selection of new Rocket League Esports Decals will be introduced, but that's not all. Here are the details...
The thing about RLCS 2021-22 is that it is simultaneously a major shake-up, and very similar to RLCS X. Whilst the format is not changing too much, RLCS 11 is adding a bunch of new regions for all of our North African, Middle Eastern, Oceanic, and Asian friends. We're also going to see the biggest prize pool in RLCS History, and the brand-new Wildcard qualifiers for the finals in July 2022. Anyway, the upgrades to the Esports Shop are why we're here, so let's get on with that...
What Are Rocket League's New Esports Decals?
We will now be receiving Oceania and South American Esports Decals, with all decals becoming available for the Octane, Dominus and Fennec cars. A bunch of new teams will be featured in RLCS 11, with each team's Decals being available in both a home-style and an away-style. Teams can now also create their own decals, to provide a faster-turnaround on Rocket League items within the Esports Shop. Psyonix's Esports Manager, Murty Shah, said the following:
This time around, we’re just like ‘you know what? Here are the templates. You guys make your dream decals.’ We have some guidelines, like you can place your logo here or there. But, generally, the teams have full creative freedom to make their best possible decals.
The most exciting thing is that we now have all the new Rocket League Esports Decals. Yes, that's right, Psyonix have revealed all 34 new Team Decals, including teams from South America and Oceania for the very first time in Rocket League history. All the new decals will include Octane, Dominus and Fennec versions, and will be available for 300 Esports Tokens each. Here's the announcement:

How Is the Rocket League Esports Shop Getting Updated?
Psyonix are introducing a brand-new website, so that fans of Rocket League have a better Esports Shop. Instead of having to rely on third-party websites to check prices and such, players will be able to access the Rocket League Esports Shop through an official website. We don't know what this will specifically mean, but we have been told that it is a "significant upgrade" on the current system.
With Psyonix moving to support RLCS 11 even more than any other past season, we are expecting it to be the biggest and boldest entry yet. We honestly can't wait to get our hands on the new Rocket League Esports Decals, nor the revamped Esports Shop. It's going to be unbelievable exciting, it's going to be unbelievably beautiful, and we honestly can't wait to see how the season unfolds.
