A new standalone Rocket League is in development for Mobile platforms, Psyonix has announced. It looks pretty awesome, will be free, and should be coming later this year. What is the game, and what can we expect from Rocket League: Sideswipe?
Psyonix has announced a new game called Rocket League: Sideswipe, which will be available exclusively on Mobile. Sad about it only being a mobile game? Don't be, it's free, and we are pretty sure that you have a smartphone! We have already seen gameplay, and it looks pretty insane...
The free Mobile game Rocket League: Sideswipe will be available for iOS and Android and is more or less a reimagining of Rocket League's core gameplay. Just on a semi-2D plain. Players are competing from a side-on perspective, in 1v1 or 2v2 matches! The games will be 2-minutes, increasing the pace, and increasing the awesomeness!
Psyonix seems pretty hyped for the game, and to be honest, the screenshots they have provided are absolutely fabulous... seriously, look at this beast!
Rocket League: Sideswipe is going to have sweet mobile controls, and there will be basic, but also advanced mechanics. Just like in Rocket League! There will be everything you expect: car customization, Online Ranking systems, and more!
When is the Rocket League: Sideswipe Release Date?
Rocket League: Sideswipe will launch for free later in 2021, but... You can already join a Regional Alpha test on Android, if you live in Australia or New Zealand.
