It’s time to go back to school! Hearthstone’s latest expansion will drop sooner than what you may think, bringing dual-class cards, powerful spells and a Harry Potter-inspired theme to the Tavern.

Scholomance Academy’s release is set August 6, just a week from now.

As it is the tradition with new Hearthstone expansions, there will be a pre-release party, but due to the still complicated global situation, Blizzard will be making it a stay-at-home event. In a statement on their website, the card-making company said:

In light of the ongoing global health risks associated with in-person gatherings, we’ve cancelled official Fireside Gatherings for the near future and disabled the ability to create public events. We do, however, want individuals at home to have an opportunity to partake in the upcoming Pre-Release weekend, so we’ll be keeping private event functionality intact. Players can register their own one-person event to enjoy opening Scholomance Academy card packs from July 31 – August 3.

If you’d like to run your own Fireside Gathering, you will be eligible to receive the bubble-gummy Nemsy Necrofizzle hero and the amazing Fireside Gatherings card back. However, you’ll have to go through the motions and register your Fireside Gathering on the website, just like with a normal in-person event.

Note, that when the set is out, you’ll no longer be able to pre-purchase the big bundle coming with the Kel’Thuzad Mage portrait, so you better decide now.
