Dune 2 has finally received a release update, now that the SAG-AFTRA strikes are over and fans are happy with the result
Dune 2 is one of the most anticipated films in recent years, which made it even more tragic that the SAG-AFTRA strike pushed the release back into the new year. Now, there's finally some good news, as the movie is set to hit theaters a few weeks earlier than was previously announced!
Dune 2 Hits Theaters Sooner Than Previously Announced
Warner Bros. seems to be more than ready to send fans back to Arrakis, as they moved the release date for Dune 2 forward to March 1, 2024, instead of pushing it further back. The original date was previously pushed back from November 3, 2023 to March 15, 2024.
Fans are more than ready to join Denis Villeneuve's epic adaptation of Frank Herbert's iconic book saga , watching Timothée Chalamet's Paul Atreides fight the evil empire on the desert planet.
We will also finally get a chance to see Zendaya in action, not just have random beauty shots of her be faded in for a couple seconds, like in the first movie.
With this, it's probably time for you to once more watch the trailer they dropped back in June, so you know what to expect:
Maybe you should also consider re-watching the first movie , because I for one, have completely forgotten most of the story and could need a little refresher.
