What is the Rocket League Speed Demon Showdown?
Rocket League Speed Demon Showdown is a tournament that will feature NASCAR's Aric Almirola and Formula 1's Sergio Pérez fighting it out in the new Speed Demon LTM. It will be pretty cool, especially considering that Pérez is currently one of the top five F1 Drivers in the world, and Almirola recently qualified for the NASCAR playoffs. These two pros are sure-as-hell going to be a lot of fun to watch play Rocket League.
The Rocket League Speed Demon Showdown coincides with the introduction of the Speed Demon LTM in Rocket League, as well as the brief return of the F1 and NASCAR Fan Packs (available until August 12). In the showdown, Pérez and Almirola will compete in Speed Demon, a new limited time mode that combines mutators, high speeds (think Boomer Ball) and a rapid respawn timer. It's going to get wild, we can guarantee that!
