TFT Patch 10.21 Will Bring Changes to the Fates Meta

For the Teamfight Tactics Patch 10.20 Riot hadn’t made too many drastic changes. All that will be different in the coming week though with some major trait buffs and nerfs taking place for TFT Patch 10.21. We’ve taken a quick look at some of the foreseen changes.

Spirit to be Nerfed

Spirit is one of the strongest traits in the game since it synergizes perfectly with a lot of other traits. Having the added attack speed can shred through any other composition and having a stacked Ahri sitting in the backline, launching Spirit bombs over and over isn’t any fun to play against either. Hence why Riot has decided to nerf Spirits, reducing the attack speed gained from 80% of the mana cost to 70%. We will just have to see if this actually slows down the spirit comps.

Moonlight Gains a Five-Unit Composition

Moonlight has 4 Champions and yet you only need 3 to fulfill the composition. There is even a Chosen-Moonlight mechanic where you’ll only need two-Moonlight to be able to star one of them up. Well, this will change with an added five-unit composition on Patch 10.21. If you gather the four Moonlight champs, as well as get one of them with the Chosen mechanic, you’ll be able to not only star-up one… not two… but three champions. Yes, you read that right. If you play your cards right, you might be able to gain 3 4-Star champions. Of course, you’ll really need the luck of the draw on this comp so it might be smart to think over if you’re willing to bet it all on 5-Moonlights or just stick to 2 and synergize with another comp for the late-game.

More Buffs to More Comps

The Divine trait is already really strong. Gaining bonus attack damage, as well as taking reduced damage after 6 hits, or by falling below 50% health. Sounds pretty good right? Well now add in instant cc cleanse once you ascend and you’ll be even stronger. Maybe this will make this comp more played?

Vanguard will also gain a bit of strength. Their armor will increase from 500 to 750 with 6 units and they’ve also added an eight-unit armor gain of 2000. Shade also got an increase in power, while Ninjas gained increased AD and Spell Power.

Multiple champions will also see buffed abilities, such as Kennen, Garen, Jarvan IV and Jinx, while some of the late-game champs like Kayn and Ashe are going to be slightly nerfed.

Overall, these changes will bring new playstyles and new comps to the maps of TFT. There are a lot more nerfs and buffs this time, and this could completely shift the TFT meta. So, who is ready to try out 5-unit Moonlights?
