When does URF end?
While there is no fixed confirmation, we anticipate Ultra Rapid Fire to end between June 5th & June 6th. However, it should be noted that Riot Games will sometimes extend it further, but its always a good idea to check the official League of Legends Twitter account or forums.
Tier-D
- D- & D+: Janna, Nunu, Tahm Kench, Ahri, Zac, Akali, Evelynn, Kalista, Udyr, Zoe, Nami, Sivir, LeBlanc.
Udyr (Tier D-)
For all that is good in the world, do not pick Udyr. This Dorito-footed gentleman is not only awful with his abilities in URF, practically making him a running stun machine, but his alternative forms also offer nothing in terms of damage. Avoid!
Kalista (Tier D+)
Want carpel tunnel easily? Then Kalista is your champion of choice. While she's fleet-footed, her abilities are useless late game, being trampled by champions with far more mobility than her, so we suggest like Udyr, you avoid her at all costs.
Tier-C
- C- & C+: Ashe, Riven, Lucian, Hecarim, Graves, Vi, Trundle, Vel'Koz, Xerath, Twitch, Cassiopeia, Shaco.
Riven (Tier C-)
Cooldowns for a cool lady, Riven leads C on our list due to her sheer ability cooldown, and a champion that doesn't require mana. While she's great for the EarlyGame, don't expect her to be making game-winning plays. She can get taken down quickly, making her a champion to avoid, but experiment if possible.
Twitch (Tier C+)
This sewer rat is spreading more poisonous vials on Summoner's Rift but is a champion that should be played with extreme caution. While Twitch's gimmick is great for turning invisible, one slip can spell catastrophe for this damage-dealing champion. Caution advised.
Tier-B
- B- & B+: Shyvana, Veigar, Syndra, Fizz, Ekko, Twisted Fate, Nasus, Kog'Maw, Soraka.
Syndra (Tier B-)
Syndra is making the list further down from our previous article due to her mobility, but she's a fantastic champion to play due to her constant Q ability spam, annoying stun, and point-and-click ultimate that'll send even the most veteran League of Legends player packing.
Veigar (Tier B+)
Where do we start with this tiny champion of disaster? Veigar is a walking nuclear bomb at all points of the game, and with his abilities scaling into the late game, you can place your bets on seeing Veigar being in the kill feed during your URF games.
Tier-A
- A-, A & A+: Diana, Ziggs, Rumble, Vladimir, Master Yi, Senna, Jayce, Nocturne, Annie.
Ziggs (Tier A-)
Ziggs is possibly one of the most annoying champions to play against in League of Legends URF mode. His abilities deal massive damage, he has a fantastic ultimate that's cooldown is incredibly short and he has incredible wave clear, due to his Q being so short. Pick Ziggs for maximum explosions on Summoner's Rift.
Nocturne (Tier A)
Darkness... It is a voice line you'll be saying a lot when you hit that level 6 sweet-spot. Nocturne is a real force to be reckoned with, his ultimate just wrecks the squishy champions of URF, and with it being on such a short cooldown, you can do it all over again... Perfectly balanced as all things should be. Unless you're playing against Nocturne, in which case, the very best of luck to you.
Annie (Tier A+)
So. Many. Stuns. Annie is one of those champions you think will be easy to play against, but oh no, she's a champion to fear on Summoner's Rift for a good reason. Her abilities post 6 and her incredible cooldown for her ultimate, Tibbers, means she'll be throwing scary bears your way the entire game.
Tier-S
- S-, S & S+: Malzahar, Xin Zhao, Jax, Teemo, Morgana, Karthus.
Morgana (S-)
She's broken in Summoner's Rift. Going full ability power on Morgana is one of the scariest things we've ever played, or played against. Her Q has enough stun damage that your other URF teammates can follow up on the kills. Her ultimate means tethering more champions in the late game, which makes her an overwhelming champion in URF.
Jax (Tier S)
Jax is a champion that has quite honestly ends games so quickly and it is for a good reason. If left alone past level 6, Jax can become a split-pushing monster, taking towers left and right with his empowered auto-attacks. Also, his Q, constantly combined with his E, makes his an absolute annoyance in the top lane of Summoner's Rift.
Teemo (Tier S+)
Bet you didn't expect this one, did you? The Devil himself takes the number 1 spot for being an absolute menace in Summoner's Rift. Once he gets his mushrooms, that's it, game over. If not dealt with quickly, the rate that Teemo can put his shrooms down can become incredibly hard to deal with, not to mention the sheer amount of damage one mushroom can do late game. He's annoying for a reason, and with Teemo now on that URF protein, he's coming for your Nexus...
That just about does it for our rankings in URF. What did you think? Did we miss anyone? No matter what, get out there, and enjoy some URF! For everything League of Legends and more, keep it here with EarlyGame.
